27:22
فَمَكَثَ غَيْرَ بَعِيد ٍ فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمْ تُحِطْ بِه ِِ وَجِئْتُكَ مِنْ سَبَإ ٍ بِنَبَإ ٍ يَقِين ٍ
Famakatha Ghayra Ba`īdin Faqāla 'Aĥaţtu Bimā Lam Tuĥiţ Bihi Wa Ji'tuka Min Saba'iin Binaba'iin Yaqīnin
But the hoopoe did not stay away long, then he said: "I have seen what you do not know, and I have come to you from Sheba with news which is certain."

13:17
أَنزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاء ً فَسَالَتْ أَوْدِيَة ٌ بِقَدَرِهَا فَاحْتَمَلَ السَّيْلُ زَبَدا ً رَابِيا ً وَمِمَّا يُوقِدُونَ عَلَيْهِ فِي النَّارِ ابْتِغَاءَ حِلْيَةٍ أَوْ مَتَاع ٍ زَبَد ٌ مِثْلُه ُُ كَذَلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْحَقَّ وَالْبَاطِلَ فَأَمَّا الزَّبَدُ فَيَذْهَبُ جُفَاء ً وَأَمَّا مَا يَنفَعُ النَّاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي الأَرْضِ كَذَلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الأَمْثَالَ
'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fasālat 'Awdiyatun Biqadarihā Fāĥtamala As-Saylu Zabadāan Rābīāan Wa Mimmā Yūqidūna `Alayhi Fī An-Nāri Abtighā'a Ĥilyatin 'Aw Matā`in Zabadun Mithluhu Kadhālika YaĐribu Allāhu Al-Ĥaqqa Wa Al-Bāţila Fa'ammā Az-Zabadu Fayadh/habu Jufā'an Wa 'Ammā Mā Yanfa`u An-Nāsa Fayamkuthu Fī Al-'ArĐi Kadhālika YaĐribu Allāhu Al-'Amthāla
He sends down water from the sky, so valleys flow according to their capacity, and the flood produces foam. And from what they burn to smelt jewelry or goods is produced a similar foam. It is in such a manor that God strikes the falsehood with the truth. As for the foam, it passes away, and as for what benefits the people, it remains in the earth. It is such that God puts forth the examples.

20:10
إِذْ رَأَى نَارا ً فَقَالَ لِأهْلِهِ امْكُثُوا إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارا ً لَعَلِّي آتِيكُمْ مِنْهَا بِقَبَسٍ أَوْ أَجِدُ عَلَى النَّارِ هُدى ً
'Idh Ra'á Nārāan Faqāla Li'hlihi Amkuthū 'Innī 'Ānastu Nārāan La`allī 'Ātīkum Minhā Biqabasin 'Aw 'Ajidu `Alá An-Nāri Hudáan
When he saw a fire, he said to his family: "Stay here, I have seen a fire, perhaps I can bring a piece from it, or find at the fire some guidance."
28:29
فَلَمَّا قَضَى مُوسَى الأَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِأَهْلِهِ آنَسَ مِنْ جَانِبِ الطُّورِ نَارا ً قَالَ لِأهْلِهِ امْكُثُوا إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارا ً لَعَلِّي آتِيكُمْ مِنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوْ جَذْوَة ٍ مِنَ النَّارِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُونَ
Falammā QaĐá Mūsá Al-'Ajala Wa Sāra Bi'ahlihi 'Ānasa Min Jānibi Aţ-Ţūri Nārāan Qāla Li'hlihi Amkuthū 'Innī 'Ānastu Nārāan La`allī 'Ātīkum Minhā Bikhabarin 'Aw Jadhwatin Mina An-Nāri La`allakum Taşţalūna
So after Moses fulfilled his obligation and was traveling with his family, he saw a fire on the slope of the mount. He said to his family: "Stay here, I have seen a fire, perhaps I can bring you from there some news or a burning piece of the fire so that you may be warmed."

17:106
وَقُرْآنا ً فَرَقْنَاه ُُ لِتَقْرَأَه ُُ عَلَى النَّاسِ عَلَى مُكْث ٍ وَنَزَّلْنَاه ُُ تَنزِيلا ً
Wa Qur'ānāan Faraqnāhu Litaqra'ahu `Alá An-Nāsi `Alá Mukthin Wa Nazzalnāhu Tanzīlāan
And a Qur'an that We have separated, so that you may read it to the people over time; and We have brought it down gradually.

18:3
مَاكِثِينَ فِيهِ~ِ أَبَدا ً
Mākithīna Fīhi 'Abadāan
In which they will remain eternally.
43:77
وَنَادَوْا يَامَالِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ مَاكِثُونَ
Wa Nādaw Yā Māliku LiyaqĐi `Alaynā Rabbuka Qāla 'Innakum Mākithūna
And they called out: O Malek, please let your Lord terminate us! He will say: No, you are remaining.
