فَبِمَا رَحْمَة ٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْ وَلَوْ كُنْتَ فَظّاً غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لاَنْفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الأَمْرِ فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ
Fabimā Raĥmatin Mina Allāhi Linta Lahum Wa Law Kunta Fažžāan Ghalīža Al-Qalbi LānfaĐĐū Min Ĥawlika Fā`fu `Anhum Wa Astaghfir Lahum Wa Shāwirhum Fī Al-'Amri Fa'idhā `Azamta Fatawakkal `Alá Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Mutawakkilīna
It was a mercy from God that you were soft towards them; had you been harsh and mean hearted, they would have dispersed from you; so pardon them and ask forgiveness for them, and consult them in the matter; but when you are convinced, then put your trust in God; for God loves those who put their trust.

اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابا ً مُتَشَابِها ً مَثَانِيَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَى ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ هُدَى اللَّهِ يَهْدِي بِه ِِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَه ُُ مِنْ هَاد ٍ
Allāhu Nazzala 'Aĥsana Al-Ĥadīthi Kitābāan Mutashābihāan Mathāniya Taqsha`irru Minhu Julūdu Al-Ladhīna Yakhshawna Rabbahum Thumma Talīnu Julūduhum Wa Qulūbuhum 'Ilá Dhikri Allāhi Dhālika Hudá Allāhi Yahdī Bihi Man Yashā'u Wa Man YuĐlili Allāhu Famā Lahu Min Hādin
God has sent down the best narrative, a Book that is similar, dual. The skins of those who are concerned towards their Lord shiver from it, then their skins and their hearts soften up to the remembrance of God. Such is the guidance of God; He guides with it whoever He wills. And for whoever God misguides, then none can guide him.

فَقُولاَ لَه ُُ قَوْلا ً لَيِّنا ً لَعَلَّه ُُ يَتَذَكَّرُ أَوْ يَخْشَى
Faqūlā Lahu Qawlāan Layyināan La`allahu Yatadhakkaru 'Aw Yakhshá
"So say to him soft words, perhaps he will remember or be concerned."

مَا قَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ لِينَةٍ أَوْ تَرَكْتُمُوهَا قَائِمَةً عَلَى أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيُخْزِيَ الْفَاسِقِينَ
Mā Qaţa`tum Min Līnatin 'Aw Taraktumūhā Qā'imatan `Alá 'Uşūlihā Fabi'idhni Allāhi Wa Liyukhziya Al-Fāsiqīna
Whether you cut down a tree or left it standing on its root, it was with the permission of God. He will surely humiliate the wicked.

وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا دَاوُودَ مِنَّا فَضْلا ً يَاجِبَالُ أَوِّبِي مَعَه ُُ وَالطَّيْرَ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ الْحَدِيدَ
Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā Dāwūda Minnā FaĐlāan Yā Jibālu 'Awwibī Ma`ahu Wa Aţ-Ţayra Wa 'Alannā Lahu Al-Ĥadīda
And We granted David blessings from Us: O mountains, glorify with him, and the birds. And We softened the iron for him.
