3:78
Wa 'Inna Minhum Lafarīqāan Yalwūna 'Alsinatahum Bil-Kitābi Litaĥsabūhu Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Mā Huwa Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Yaqūlūna Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi Wa Mā Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi Wa Yaqūlūna `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Wa Hum Ya`lamūna
And from among them is a group who twist their tongues with the Book so that you may think it is from the Book, while it is not from the Book, and they say it is from God while it is not from God, and they say about God lies while they know.
4:46
Mina Al-Ladhīna Hādū Yuĥarrifūna Al-Kalima `An MawāĐi`ihi Wa Yaqūlūna Sami`nā Wa `Aşaynā Wa Asma` Ghayra Musma`in Wa Rā`inā Layyāan Bi'alsinatihim Wa Ţa`nāan Fī Ad-Dīni Wa Law 'Annahum Qālū Sami`nā Wa 'Aţa`nā Wa Asma` Wa Anžurnā Lakāna Khayrāan Lahum Wa 'Aqwama Wa Lakin La`anahumu Allāhu Bikufrihim Falā Yu'uminūna 'Illā Qalīlāan
From among those who are Jewish are some who take the words out of context, and they say: "We hear and disobey, and listen but let not any listen, and shepherd us," in a twisting of their tongues and as a mockery of the system! And had they said: "We hear and obey, and listen, and watch over us," it would have been better for them and more upright; but God has cursed them for their disbelief, they do not believe except very little.
5:78
Lu`ina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Min Banī 'Isrā'īla `Alá Lisāni Dāwūda Wa `Īsá Abni Maryama Dhālika Bimā `Aşaw Wa Kānū Ya`tadūna
Cursed are those who have rejected from among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and Jesus, son of Mary. That is for what they have disobeyed, and for what they transgressed.
14:4
Wa Mā 'Arsalnā Min Rasūlin 'Illā Bilisāni Qawmihi Liyubayyina Lahum FayuĐillu Allāhu Man Yashā'u Wa Yahdī Man Yashā'u Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu
And We have not sent any messenger except in the language of his people, so he may clarify for them. But God misguides whom He wills, and He guides whom He wills. And He is the Noble, the Wise.
16:62
Wa Yaj`alūna Lillāhi Mā Yakrahūna Wa Taşifu 'Alsinatuhumu Al-Kadhiba 'Anna Lahumu Al-Ĥusná Lā Jarama 'Anna Lahumu An-Nāra Wa 'Annahum Mufraţūna
And they assign to God what they hate, and their tongues describe with lies that they will have what is good. No doubt they will have the Fire, for they have rebelled.
16:103
Wa Laqad Na`lamu 'Annahum Yaqūlūna 'Innamā Yu`allimuhu Basharun Lisānu Al-Ladhī Yulĥidūna 'Ilayhi 'A`jamīyun Wa Hadhā Lisānun `Arabīyun Mubīnun
And We are aware that they say: "A human being is teaching him." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, while this is a clear Arabic tongue.
16:116
Wa Lā Taqūlū Limā Taşifu 'Alsinatukumu Al-Kadhiba Hādhā Ĥalālun Wa Hadhā Ĥarāmun Litaftarū `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yaftarūna `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Lā Yufliĥūna
And do not say, as to what your tongues falsely describe: "This is lawful, and that is forbidden;" that you seek to invent lies about God. Those who invent lies about God will not succeed.
19:50
Wa Wahabnā Lahum Min Raĥmatinā Wa Ja`alnā Lahum Lisāna Şidqin `Alīyāan
And We granted them from Our mercy, and We made for them a tongue of truthfulness to be heard.
19:97
Fa'innamā Yassarnāhu Bilisānika Litubashshira Bihi Al-Muttaqīna Wa Tundhira Bihi Qawmāan Luddāan
Thus We have made this easy in your tongue so that you may give good news with it to the righteous and that you may warn with it the quarrelsome people.
20:27
Wa Aĥlul `Uqdatan Min Lisānī
"And remove the knot in my tongue."
24:15
'Idh Talaqqawnahu Bi'alsinatikum Wa Taqūlūna Bi'afwāhikum Mā Laysa Lakum Bihi `Ilmun Wa Taĥsabūnahu Hayyināan Wa Huwa `Inda Allāhi `Ažīmun
For you have cast it with your tongues, and you say with your mouths what you have no knowledge of, and you think it is a minor issue, while with God it was great.
24:24
Yawma Tash/hadu `Alayhim 'Alsinatuhum Wa 'Aydīhim Wa 'Arjuluhum Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna
On the Day when their tongues, and their hands, and their feet will bear witness against them for what they used to do.
26:13
Wa YaĐīqu Şadrī Wa Lā Yanţaliqu Lisānī Fa'arsil 'Ilá Hārūna
"And my chest would become tight, and my tongue would not be able to express; so send for Aaron."
26:84
Wa Aj`al Lī Lisāna Şidqin Fī Al-'Ākhirīna
"And give me a tongue that is true for those who will follow."
26:195
Bilisānin `Arabīyin Mubīnin
In a clear Arabic tongue.
28:34
Wa 'Akhī Hārūnu Huwa 'Afşaĥu Minnī Lisānāan Fa'arsilhu Ma`iya Rid'āan Yuşaddiqunī 'Innī 'Akhāfu 'An Yukadhdhibūni
"And my brother Aaron is more eloquent in speech than I. So send him with me to help and to confirm me. For I fear that they will deny me."
30:22
Wa Min 'Āyātihi Khalqu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'ArĐi Wa Akhtilāfu 'Alsinatikum Wa 'Alwānikum 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Lil`ālimīna
And from His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your tongues and your colors. In that are signs for the world.
33:19
'Ashiĥĥatan `Alaykum Fa'idhā Jā'a Al-Khawfu Ra'aytahum Yanžurūna 'Ilayka Tadūru 'A`yunuhum Kālladhī Yughshá `Alayhi Mina Al-Mawti Fa'idhā Dhahaba Al-Khawfu Salaqūkum Bi'alsinatin Ĥidādin 'Ashiĥĥatan `Alá Al-Khayri 'Ūlā'ika Lam Yu'uminū Fa'aĥbaţa Allāhu 'A`mālahum Wa Kāna Dhālika `Alá Allāhi Yasīrāan
They are miserable towards you. Then, when fear comes, you see their eyes rolling, as if death had already come to them. But once the fear is gone, they lash-out at you with sharp tongues. They are miserable towards doing any good. These have not believed, so God nullifies their works. This is easy for God to do.
44:58
Fa'innamā Yassarnāhu Bilisānika La`allahum Yatadhakkarūna
We have thus made it easy in your language, perhaps they may take heed.
46:12
Wa Min Qablihi Kitābu Mūsá 'Imāmāan Wa Raĥmatan Wa Hadhā Kitābun Muşaddiqun Lisānāan `Arabīyāan Liyundhira Al-Ladhīna žalamū Wa Bushrá Lilmuĥsinīna
And before it was the Book of Moses, a beacon and a mercy. And this is an authenticating Book, in an Arabic tongue, so that you may warn those who have transgressed, and to give good news to the righteous.
48:11
Sayaqūlu Laka Al-Mukhallafūna Mina Al-'A`rābi Shaghalatnā 'Amwālunā Wa 'Ahlūnā Fāstaghfir Lanā Yaqūlūna Bi'alsinatihim Mā Laysa Fī Qulūbihim Qul Faman Yamliku Lakum Mina Allāhi Shay'āan 'In 'Arāda Bikum Đarrāan 'Aw 'Arāda Bikum Naf`āan Bal Kāna Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Khabīrāan
The Nomads who lagged behind will say to you: "We were preoccupied with our money and our family, so ask forgiveness for us." They say with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say: "Who then would possess any power for you against God if He wanted harm to afflict you or if He wanted benefit for you?" No, God is fully Aware of everything you do.
60:2
'In Yathqafūkum Yakūnū Lakum 'A`dā'an Wa Yabsuţū 'Ilaykum 'Aydiyahum Wa 'Alsinatahum Bis-Sū'i Wa Waddū Law Takfurūna
If they encounter you, they treat you as enemies, and they extend their hands and tongues against you to hurt you. They desire that you reject.
75:16
Lā Tuĥarrik Bihi Lisānaka Lita`jala Bihi
Do not move your tongue with it to make haste.
90:9
Wa Lisānāan Wa Shafatayni
And a tongue and two lips?
