Kh-Lam-Tay
To mix/intermingle/incorporate/blend, put together with another thing, confuse/confound/disorder, to perplex or disturb, to have intercourse (i.e. a man with his wife, or with a woman), to penetrate into [ TA - khalthu ash-shaybu (the arrow penetrated into him) ], to infect or pervade, associate/converse, become intimate with, enter into a confederacy/league/compact/covenant, good natured/disposition.

9:102
وَآخَرُونَ اعْتَرَفُوا بِذُنُوبِهِمْ خَلَطُوا عَمَلا ً صَالِحا ً وَآخَرَ سَيِّئاً عَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
Wa 'Ākharūna A`tarafū Bidhunūbihim Khalaţū `Amalāan Şāliĥāan Wa 'Ākhara Sayyi'āan `Asá Allāhu 'An Yatūba `Alayhim 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
And others who have acknowledged their sins, they have mixed a good work with another that was bad. Perhaps God will pardon them. God is Forgiving, Merciful.

قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَى نِعَاجِه ِِ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرا ً مِنَ الْخُلَطَاءِ لَيَبْغِي بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْض ٍ إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَقَلِيل ٌ مَا هُمْ وَظَنَّ دَاوُودُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّاه ُُ فَاسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّه ُُ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعا ً وَأَنَابَ
Qāla Laqad žalamaka Bisu'uāli Na`jatika 'Ilá Ni`ājihi Wa 'Inna Kathīrāan Mina Al-Khulaţā'i Layabghī Ba`Đuhum `Alá Ba`Đin 'Illā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Wa Qalīlun Mā Hum Wa žanna Dāwūdu 'Annamā Fatannāhu Fāstaghfara Rabbahu Wa Kharra Rāki`āan Wa 'Anāba
He said: "He has wronged you by asking to combine your lamb with his lambs. And many who mix their properties take advantage of one another, except those who believe and do good works, and these are very few." And David guessed that We had tested him, so he sought forgiveness from his Lord, and fell down kneeling, and repented.

فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْيَتَامَى قُلْ إِصْلاَح ٌ لَهُمْ خَيْر ٌ وَإِنْ تُخَالِطُوهُمْ فَإِخْوَانُكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الْمُفْسِدَ مِنَ الْمُصْلِحِ وَلَوْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَأَعْنَتَكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيم ٌ
Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Yas'alūnaka `Ani Al-Yatāmá Qul 'Işlāĥun Lahum Khayrun Wa 'In Tukhāliţūhum Fa'ikhwānukum Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Al-Mufsida Mina Al-Muşliĥi Wa Law Shā'a Allāhu La'a`natakum 'Inna Allāha `Azīzun Ĥakīmun
In this world and the next; and they ask you regarding the orphans, say: "To fix their situation is best, and if you are to care for them, then they are your brothers." And God knows the corrupt from the good, and if God had wished He could have made things difficult. God is Noble, Wise.

وَعَلَى الَّذِينَ هَادُوا حَرَّمْنَا كُلَّ ذِي ظُفُر ٍ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ وَالْغَنَمِ حَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ شُحُومَهُمَا إِلاَّ مَا حَمَلَتْ ظُهُورُهُمَا أَوِ الْحَوَايَا أَوْ مَا اخْتَلَطَ بِعَظْم ٍ ذَلِكَ جَزَيْنَاهُمْ بِبَغْيِهِمْ وَإِنَّا لَصَادِقُونَ
Wa `Alá Al-Ladhīna Hādū Ĥarramnā Kulla Dhī žufurin Wa Mina Al-Baqari Wa Al-Ghanami Ĥarramnā `Alayhim Shuĥūmahumā 'Illā Mā Ĥamalat žuhūruhumā 'Awi Al-Ĥawāyā 'Aw Mā Akhtalaţa Bi`ažmin Dhālika Jazaynāhum Bibaghyihim Wa 'Innā Laşādiqūna
And for those who are Jewish We have made unlawful all that have claws; and from the cattle and the sheep We made unlawful their fat except what is attached to the back, or entrails, or mixed with bone. That is a punishment for their rebellion, and We are truthful.
10:24
إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَاءٍ أَنْزَلْنَاه ُُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَاخْتَلَطَ بِه ِِ نَبَاتُ الأَرْضِ مِمَّا يَأْكُلُ النَّاسُ وَالأَنعَام حَتَّى إِذَا أَخَذَتِ الأَرْضُ زُخْرُفَهَا وَازَّيَّنَتْ وَظَنَّ أَهْلُهَا أَنَّهُمْ قَادِرُونَ عَلَيْهَا أَتَاهَا أَمْرُنَا لَيْلاً أَوْ نَهَارا ً فَجَعَلْنَاهَا حَصِيدا ً كَأَنْ لَمْ تَغْنَ بِالأَمْسِ كَذَلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الآيَاتِ لِقَوْم ٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
'Innamā Mathalu Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Kamā'in 'Anzalnāhu Mina As-Samā'i Fākhtalaţa Bihi Nabātu Al-'ArĐi Mimmā Ya'kulu An-Nāsu Wa Al-'An`ām Ĥattá 'Idhā 'Akhadhati Al-'ArĐu Zukhrufahā Wa Azzayyanat Wa žanna 'Ahluhā 'Annahum Qādirūna `Alayhā 'Atāhā 'Amrunā Laylāan 'Aw Nahārāan Faja`alnāhā Ĥaşīdāan Ka'an Lam Taghna Bil-'Amsi Kadhālika Nufaşşilu Al-'Āyāti Liqawmin Yatafakkarūna
The example of the worldly life is like a water which has come down from the sky, so it mixed with the plants of the earth from what the people and the livestock eat. Then the earth takes its shape and becomes beautiful and its inhabitants think that they have mastered it; then Our judgment comes by night or by day, so We make it a wasteland as if it never prospered by the yesterday! It is such that We clarify the revelations for a people who think.
18:45
وَاضْرِبْ لَهُمْ مَثَلَ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَاءٍ أَنزَلْنَاه ُُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فَاخْتَلَطَ بِه ِِ نَبَاتُ الأَرْضِ فَأَصْبَحَ هَشِيما ً تَذْرُوهُ الرِّيَاحُ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْء ٍ مُقْتَدِرا ً
Wa AĐrib Lahum Mathala Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Kamā'in 'Anzalnāhu Mina As-Samā'i Fākhtalaţa Bihi Nabātu Al-'ArĐi Fa'aşbaĥa Hashīmāan Tadhrūhu Ar-Riyāĥu Wa Kāna Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Muqtadirāan
And give them the example of this worldly life is like a water which We have sent down from the sky, so that the plants of the earth mix with it and it becomes murky being moved by the wind. And God is capable of all things.
