Kaf-Alif-Siin
drinking-cup when there is in it something to drink. Sometimes it can refer to the drink itself, e.g. wine. Sometimes used to signify every kind of disagreeable/hateful/evil thing.
If there is no beverage in it, the drinking cup is called
Qadehun
(root: Qaf-Dal-Ha).

37:45
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِكَأْس ٍ مِنْ مَعِين ٍ
Yuţāfu `Alayhim Bika'sin Min Ma`īnin
They will be served with a cup of pure drink.
52:23
يَتَنَازَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسا ً لاَ لَغْو ٌ فِيهَا وَلاَ تَأْثِيم ٌ
Yatanāza`ūna Fīhā Ka'sāan Lā Laghwun Fīhā Wa Lā Ta'thīmun
They will enjoy drinks therein, from which there is no nonsense, nor blame.
56:18
بِأَكْوَاب ٍ وَأَبَارِيقَ وَكَأْس ٍ مِنْ مَعِين ٍ
Bi'akwābin Wa 'Abārīqa Wa Ka'sin Min Ma`īnin
With cups, pitchers, and a cup of pure drink.
76:5
إِنَّ الأَبْرَارَ يَشْرَبُونَ مِنْ كَأْس ٍ كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا كَافُورا ً
'Inna Al-'Abrāra Yashrabūna Min Ka'sin Kāna Mizājuhā Kāfūrāan
As for the pious, they will drink from a cup with the scent of musk.
76:17
وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسا ً كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلا ً
Wa Yusqawna Fīhā Ka'sāan Kāna Mizājuhā Zanjabīlāan
And they are given to drink in it from a cup which has the scent of ginger.
78:34
وَكَأْسا ً دِهَاقا ً
Wa Ka'sāan Dihāqāan
And a cup that is full.
