Jiim-Ha-Miim
To kindle a fire, make to burn, burn up, burn brightly or fiercly, open the eye, to abstain/refrain/desist/forbear, advance or go forward, recede or draw back [This verb bears contradictory significations], near to destroying or killing, burn with vehemence of desire/covetousness and niggardliness, straitened in disposition, tenacious or stingy, blazing or flaming, vehemently hot.

إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ بِالْحَقِّ بَشِيرا ً وَنَذِيرا ً وَلاَ تُسْأَلُ عَنْ أَصْحَابِ الْجَحِيمِ
'Innā 'Arsalnāka Bil-Ĥaqqi Bashīrāan Wa Nadhīrāan Wa Lā Tus'alu `An 'Aşĥābi Al-Jaĥīmi
We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner. You will not be questioned about the people of Hell.
5:10
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَائِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jaĥīmi
And those who reject and deny Our revelations, they are the dwellers of Hell.
5:86
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَائِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jaĥīmi
And those who rejected and denied Our revelations; they are the dwellers of Hell.
9:113
مَا كَانَ لِلنَّبِيِّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرُوا لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ وَلَوْ كَانُوا أُوْلِي قُرْبَى مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُمْ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ
Mā Kāna Lilnnabīyi Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'An Yastaghfirū Lilmushrikīna Wa Law Kānū 'Ūlī Qurbá Min Ba`di Mā Tabayyana Lahum 'Annahum 'Aşĥābu Al-Jaĥīmi
It is not for the prophet and those who believe that they should seek forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they are relatives, after it has been made clear to them that they are the dwellers of Hell.
22:51
وَالَّذِينَ سَعَوْا فِي آيَاتِنَا مُعَاجِزِينَ أُوْلَائِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Sa`aw Fī 'Āyātinā Mu`ājizīna 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jaĥīmi
And those who seek to obstruct Our revelations, those are the dwellers of Hell.
26:91
وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِلْغَاوِينَ
Wa Burrizati Al-Jaĥīmu Lilghāwīna
And Hell was displayed for the wrongdoers.
37:23
مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ فَاهْدُوهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْجَحِيمِ
Min Dūni Allāhi Fāhdūhum 'Ilá Şirāţi Al-Jaĥīmi
Beside God, and guide them to the path of Hell.
37:55
فَاطَّلَعَ فَرَآهُ فِي سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ
Fāţţala`a Fara'āhu Fī Sawā'i Al-Jaĥīmi
So when he looked, he saw him in the midst of Hell.
37:64
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَة ٌ تَخْرُجُ فِي أَصْلِ الْجَحِيمِ
'Innahā Shajaratun Takhruju Fī 'Aşli Al-Jaĥīmi
It is a tree that grows in the midst of Hell.
37:68
ثُمَّ إِنَّ مَرْجِعَهُمْ لَإِلَى الْجَحِيمِ
Thumma 'Inna Marji`ahum La'ilá Al-Jaĥīmi
Then they will be returned to Hell.
37:97
قَالُوا ابْنُوا لَه ُُ بُنْيَانا ً فَأَلْقُوه ُُ فِي الْجَحِيمِ
Qālū Abnū Lahu Bunyānāan Fa'alqūhu Fī Al-Jaĥīmi
They said:Build for him a structure, and then throw him into its fire.
37:163
إِلاَّ مَنْ هُوَ صَالِي الْجَحِيمِ
'Illā Man Huwa Şālī Al-Jaĥīmi
Except those who are destined to Hell.
40:7
الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَه ُُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِه ِِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْء ٍ رَحْمَة ً وَعِلْما ً فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Al-Ladhīna Yaĥmilūna Al-`Arsha Wa Man Ĥawlahu Yusabbiĥūna Biĥamdi Rabbihim Wa Yu'uminūna Bihi Wa Yastaghfirūna Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Rabbanā Wasi`ta Kulla Shay'in Raĥmatan Wa `Ilmāan Fāghfir Lilladhīna Tābū Wa Attaba`ū Sabīlaka Wa Qihim `Adhāba Al-Jaĥīmi
Those who carry the Throne and all those surrounding it glorify the praise of their Lord, and believe in Him, and they seek forgiveness for those who have believed: Our Lord, You encompass all things with mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repented and followed Your path, and spare them the agony of Hell.
44:47
خُذُوه ُُ فَاعْتِلُوهُ~ُ إِلَى سَوَاءِ الْجَحِيمِ
Khudhūhu Fā`tilūhu 'Ilá Sawā'i Al-Jaĥīmi
Take him and throw him into the midst of Hell.
44:56
لاَ يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا الْمَوْتَ إِلاَّ الْمَوْتَةَ الأُولَى وَوَقَاهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Lā Yadhūqūna Fīhā Al-Mawta 'Illā Al-Mawtata Al-'Ūlá Wa Waqāhum `Adhāba Al-Jaĥīmi
They do not taste death therein except for the first death, and He has spared them the retribution of Hell.
52:18
فَاكِهِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ وَوَقَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ
Fākihīna Bimā 'Ātāhum Rabbuhum Wa Waqāhum Rabbuhum `Adhāba Al-Jaĥīmi
Delighted by what their Lord has granted them; and their Lord has spared them the retribution of Hell.
56:94
وَتَصْلِيَةُ جَحِيم ٍ
Wa Taşliyatu Jaĥīmin
And a burning in Hell.
57:19
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ~ِ أُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الصِّدِّيقُونَ وَالشُّهَدَاءُ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ وَنُورُهُمْ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَكَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا أُوْلَائِكَ أَصْحَابُ الْجَحِيمِ
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Billāhi Wa Rusulihi 'Ūlā'ika Humu Aş-Şiddīqūna Wa Ash-Shuhadā'u `Inda Rabbihim Lahum 'Ajruhum Wa Nūruhum Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu Al-Jaĥīmi
And those who believed in God and His messengers are the truthful ones. And the martyrs at their Lord will have their reward and their light. As for those who disbelieved and denied Our revelations, they are the dwellers of Hell.
69:31
ثُمَّ الْجَحِيمَ صَلُّوهُ
Thumma Al-Jaĥīma Şallūhu
Then to Hell cast him.
73:12
إِنَّ لَدَيْنَا أَنكَالا ً وَجَحِيما ً
'Inna Ladaynā 'Ankālāan Wa Jaĥīmāan
We have with Us chains and a raging fire.
79:36
وَبُرِّزَتِ الْجَحِيمُ لِمَنْ يَرَى
Wa Burrizati Al-Jaĥīmu Liman Yará
And Hell will be made apparent for all who can see.
79:39
فَإِنَّ الْجَحِيمَ هِيَ الْمَأْوَى
Fa'inna Al-Jaĥīma Hiya Al-Ma'wá
Then Hell will be the abode.
81:12
وَإِذَا الْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ
Wa 'Idhā Al-Jaĥīmu Su``irat
And when Hell is ignited.
82:14
وَإِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيم ٍ
Wa 'Inna Al-Fujjāra Lafī Jaĥīmin
And the wicked are in Hell.
83:16
ثُمَّ إِنَّهُمْ لَصَالُوا الْجَحِيمِ
Thumma 'Innahum Laşālū Al-Jaĥīmi
Then they will be entered into Hell.
102:6
لَتَرَوُنَّ الْجَحِيمَ
Latarawunna Al-Jaĥīma
You would then see Hell.
