وَلَمَّا دَخَلُواْ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَمَرَهُمْ أَبُوهُم مَّا كَانَ يُغْنِي عَنْهُم مِّنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ شَيْء ٍ إِلاَّ حَاجَة ً فِي نَفْسِ يَعْقُوبَ قَضَاهَا وَإِنَّه ُُ لَذُو عِلْم ٍ لِمَا عَلَّمْنَاه ُُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ
Wa Lammā Dakhalū Min Ĥaythu 'Amarahum 'Abūhum Mmā Kāna Yughnī `Anhum Mmina Allāhi Min Shay'in 'Illā Ĥājatan Fī Nafsi Ya`qūba QaĐāhā Wa 'Innahu Ladhū `Ilmin Limā `Allamnāhu Wa Lakinna 'Akthara An-Nāsi Lā Ya`lamūna
And when they entered from where their father had commanded them, it would not have availed them in the least against God, but it was out of a concern in the soul of Jacob that he brought out. And he is with knowledge for what We taught him, but most of the people do not know.
40:80
وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوا عَلَيْهَا حَاجَة ً فِي صُدُورِكُمْ وَعَلَيْهَا وَعَلَى الْفُلْكِ تُحْمَلُونَ
Wa Lakum Fīhā Manāfi`u Wa Litablughū `Alayhā Ĥājatan Fī Şudūrikum Wa `Alayhā Wa `Alá Al-Fulki Tuĥmalūna
And you have other benefits in them. And that you may reach by them what is desired in your chests. And on them and on the ships, you are carried.
59:9
وَالَّذِينَ تَبَوَّءُوا الدَّارَ وَالإِيمَانَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ يُحِبُّونَ مَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ يَجِدُونَ فِي صُدُورِهِمْ حَاجَة ً مِمَّا أُوتُوا وَيُؤْثِرُونَ عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ وَلَوْ كَانَ بِهِمْ خَصَاصَة ٌ وَمَنْ يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِه ِِ فَأُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ
Wa Al-Ladhīna Tabawwa'ū Ad-Dāra Wa Al-'Īmāna Min Qablihim Yuĥibbūna Man Hājara 'Ilayhim Wa Lā Yajidūna Fī Şudūrihim Ĥājatan Mimmā 'Ūtū Wa Yu'uthirūna `Alá 'Anfusihim Wa Law Kāna Bihim Khaşāşatun Wa Man Yūqa Shuĥĥa Nafsihi Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna
And those who provided them with shelter, and were believers before them; they love those who immigrated to them, and they find no hesitation in their hearts in helping them, and they readily give them priority over themselves, even when they themselves need what they give away. Indeed, those who overcome their desires are the successful ones.
