Ha-Miim-Ya
To protect/prohibit/guard/defend against encroachment/attack. A thing prohibited, prohibit a thing. Vehement/angry, it was/became hot (e.g. day, oven), disdain/scorn/indignation/jealousy/anger, to be ashamed, refuse to bear/endure/tolerate wrongful treatment.

يَوْمَ يُحْمَى عَلَيْهَا فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ فَتُكْوَى بِهَا جِبَاهُهُمْ وَجُنُوبُهُمْ وَظُهُورُهُمْ هَذَا مَا كَنَزْتُمْ لِأنفُسِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا مَا كُنتُمْ تَكْنِزُونَ
Yawma Yuĥmá `Alayhā Fī Nāri Jahannama Fatukwá Bihā Jibāhuhum Wa Junūbuhum Wa žuhūruhum Hādhā Mā Kanaztum Li'nfusikum Fadhūqū Mā Kuntum Taknizūna
On the Day when they will be seared in the fires of Hell, and their foreheads and sides and backs will be branded with it: "This is what you have hoarded for yourselves, so taste what you have hoarded!"

مَا جَعَلَ اللَّهُ مِنْ بَحِيرَة ٍ وَلاَ سَائِبَة ٍ وَلاَ وَصِيلَة ٍ وَلاَ حَام ٍ وَلَكِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَفْتَرُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ
Mā Ja`ala Allāhu Min Baĥīratin Wa Lā Sā'ibatin Wa Lā Waşīlatin Wa Lā Ĥāmin Wa Lakinna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yaftarūna `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Wa 'Aktharuhum Lā Ya`qilūna
God did not decree any restrictions for combining of livestock, or roaming livestock, or ones that give twin births, or a stallion freed from work; but the people who rejected invented lies to God, and most of them do not comprehend.

إِذْ جَعَلَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْحَمِيَّةَ حَمِيَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَه ُُ عَلَى رَسُولِه ِِ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ التَّقْوَى وَكَانُوا أَحَقَّ بِهَا وَأَهْلَهَا وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيما ً
'Idh Ja`ala Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fī Qulūbihimu Al-Ĥamīyata Ĥamīyata Al-Jāhilīyati Fa'anzala Allāhu Sakīnatahu `Alá Rasūlihi Wa `Alá Al-Mu'uminīna Wa 'Alzamahum Kalimata At-Taqwá Wa Kānū 'Aĥaqqa Bihā Wa 'Ahlahā Wa Kāna Allāhu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmāan
Those who rejected had put in their hearts the rage of the days of ignorance. Then, God sent down tranquility upon His messenger and the believers, and directed them to uphold the word of righteousness, and they were well entitled to it and worthy of it. And God is fully aware of all things.
48:26
