4:6
وَابْتَلُوا الْيَتَامَى حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغُوا النِّكَاحَ فَإِنْ آنَسْتُمْ مِنْهُمْ رُشْدا ً فَادْفَعُوا إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ وَلاَ تَأْكُلُوهَا إِسْرَافا ً وَبِدَاراً أَنْ يَكْبَرُوا وَمَنْ كَانَ غَنِيّا ً فَلْيَسْتَعْفِفْ وَمَنْ كَانَ فَقِيرا ً فَلْيَأْكُلْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ فَإِذَا دَفَعْتُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَأَشْهِدُوا عَلَيْهِمْ وَكَفَى بِاللَّهِ حَسِيبا ً
Wa Abtalū Al-Yatāmá Ĥattá 'Idhā Balaghū An-Nikāĥa Fa'in 'Ānastum Minhum Rushdāan Fādfa`ū 'Ilayhim 'Amwālahum Wa Lā Ta'kulūhā 'Isrāfāan Wa Bidārāan 'An Yakbarū Wa Man Kāna Ghanīyāan Falyasta`fif Wa Man Kāna Faqīrāan Falya'kul Bil-Ma`rūfi Fa'idhā Dafa`tum 'Ilayhim 'Amwālahum Fa'ash/hidū `Alayhim Wa Kafá Billāhi Ĥasībāan
And test the orphans when they reach puberty, then, if you have determined from them comprehension, then give them their money, and do not deliberately consume it wastefully or quickly before they grow up. And whoever is rich, then let him not claim anything, and if he is poor then let him consume in kindness. If you give to them their money, then make a witness for them, and God is enough for Reckoning.

3:167
وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ نَافَقُوا وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا قَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ ادْفَعُوا قَالُوا لَوْ نَعْلَمُ قِتَالا ً لاَتَّبَعْنَاكُمْ هُمْ لِلْكُفْرِ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَقْرَبُ مِنْهُمْ لِلإِيمَانِ يَقُولُونَ بِأَفْواهِهِمْ مَا لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَكْتُمُونَ
Wa Liya`lama Al-Ladhīna Nāfaqū Wa Qīla Lahum Ta`ālaw Qātilū Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Aw Adfa`ū Qālū Law Na`lamu Qitālāan Lāttaba`nākum Hum Lilkufri Yawma'idhin 'Aqrabu Minhum Lil'īmāni Yaqūlūna Bi'afwhihim Mā Laysa Fī Qulūbihim Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Yaktumūna
And to let those who are hypocrites know, that they were told: "Come fight in the cause of God or defend," they said: "If we knew how to fight we would have followed you." They are closer to rejection than they are to belief. They say with their mouths what is not in their hearts, and God is aware of what they conceal.
4:6

23:96
ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ السَّيِّئَةَ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ
Adfa` Bi-Atī Hiya 'Aĥsanu As-Sayyi'ata Naĥnu 'A`lamu Bimā Yaşifūna
Push away evil with that which is better. We are better aware of what they describe.
41:34
وَلاَ تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلاَ السَّيِّئَةُ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَه ُُ عَدَاوَة ٌ كَأَنَّه ُُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيم ٌ
Wa Lā Tastawī Al-Ĥasanatu Wa Lā As-Sayyi'atu Adfa` Bi-Atī Hiya 'Aĥsanu Fa'idhā Al-Ladhī Baynaka Wa Baynahu `Adāwatun Ka'annahu Wa Līyun Ĥamīmun
Not equal are the good and the bad response. You shall resort to the one which is better. Thus, the one who used to be your enemy, may become your best friend.

فَهَزَمُوهُمْ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُودُ جَالُوتَ وَآتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْمُلْكَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَه ُُ مِمَّا يَشَاءُ وَلَوْلاَ دَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْض ٍ لَفَسَدَتِ الأَرْضُ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
Fahazamūhum Bi'idhni Allāhi Wa Qatala Dāwūdu Jālūta Wa 'Ātāhu Allāhu Al-Mulka Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa `Allamahu Mimmā Yashā'u Wa Lawlā Daf`u Allāhi An-Nāsa Ba`Đahum Biba`Đin Lafasadati Al-'ArĐu Wa Lakinna Allāha Dhū FaĐlin `Alá Al-`Ālamīna
So they defeated them with the permission of God, and David killed Goliath, and God gave him the kingship and the wisdom and taught him what he wished. And if it were not for God defending the people against themselves, then the earth would have long been corrupted; but God has bestowed grace upon the worlds.
22:40
الَّذِينَ أُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقّ ٍ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَقُولُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ وَلَوْلاَ دَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْض ٍ لَهُدِّمَتْ صَوَامِعُ وَبِيَع ٌ وَصَلَوَات ٌ وَمَسَاجِدُ يُذْكَرُ فِيهَا اسْمُ اللَّهِ كَثِيرا ً وَلَيَنصُرَنَّ اللَّهُ مَنْ يَنصُرُهُ~ُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيز ٌ
Al-Ladhīna 'Ukhrijū Min Diyārihim Bighayri Ĥaqqin 'Illā 'An Yaqūlū Rabbunā Allāhu Wa Lawlā Daf`u Allāhi An-Nāsa Ba`Đahum Biba`Đin Lahuddimat Şawāmi`u Wa Biya`un Wa Şalawātun Wa Masājidu Yudhkaru Fīhā Asmu Allāhi Kathīrāan Wa Layanşuranna Allāhu Man Yanşuruhu 'Inna Allāha Laqawīyun `Azīzun
The ones who were driven out of their homes without justice, except that they said: "Our Lord is God!" And if it were not for God defending the people against themselves, then many places of gathering, and markets, and bonds, and temples where the name of God is frequently mentioned, would have been destroyed. God will give victory to those who support Him. God is Powerful, Noble.

مَا لَه ُُ مِنْ دَافِع ٍ
Mā Lahu Min Dāfi`in
Nothing can stop it.
70:2
لِلْكَافِرينَ لَيْسَ لَه ُُ دَافِع ٌ
Lilkāfiryna Laysa Lahu Dāfi`un
For the rejecters, there is nothing that will stop it.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُدَافِعُ عَنِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يُحِبُّ كُلَّ خَوَّان ٍ كَفُور ٍ
'Inna Allāha Yudāfi`u `Ani Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Inna Allāha Lā Yuĥibbu Kulla Khawwānin Kafūrin
God defends those who believe. God does not love any betrayer, rejecter.
