Dad-Ya-Fa
Inclined, approached, drew near to setting (said of the sun). Menstruation (said of a woman). Become a guest, refuge of someone. Become correlative to something. Correlation, or reciprocal correlation, so that one cannot be conceived in the mind without the other. Beign collected, joined, added together.
Ran, hastened, fled, sped, turned away.
Beset by distress of mind. Hardship, difficulty, or distress.
Asking, or calling, for an aid.

11:78
وَجَاءَه ُُ قَوْمُه ُُ يُهْرَعُونَ إِلَيْهِ وَمِنْ قَبْلُ كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ هَاؤُلاَء بَنَاتِي هُنَّ أَطْهَرُ لَكُمْ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَلاَ تُخْزُونِي فِي ضَيْفِي أَلَيْسَ مِنْكُمْ رَجُل ٌ رَشِيد ٌ
Wa Jā'ahu Qawmuhu Yuhra`ūna 'Ilayhi Wa Min Qablu Kānū Ya`malūna As-Sayyi'āti Qāla Yā Qawmi Hā'uulā' Banātī Hunna 'Aţharu Lakum Fa Attaqū Allāha Wa Lā Tukhzūnī Fī Đayfī 'Alaysa Minkum Rajulun Rashīdun
And his people came rushing towards him, and before it they were committing sin, he said: "My people, these are my daughters, they are purer for you, so be aware of God and do not disgrace me regarding my guests. Is there no wise man among you?"
15:51
وَنَبِّئْهُمْ عَنْ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
Wa Nabbi'hum `An Đayfi 'Ibrāhīma
And inform them of the guests of Abraham.
15:68
قَالَ إِنَّ هَاؤُلاَء ضَيْفِي فَلاَ تَفْضَحُونِ
Qāla 'Inna Hā'uulā' Đayfī Falā TafĐaĥūni
He said: "These are my guests, so do not embarrass me!"
51:24
هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ
Hal 'Atāka Ĥadīthu Đayfi 'Ibrāhīma Al-Mukramīna
Has the narrative of the noble guests of Abraham come to you?
54:37
وَلَقَدْ رَاوَدُوه ُُ عَنْ ضَيْفِه ِِ فَطَمَسْنَا أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ
Wa Laqad Rāwadūhu `An Đayfihi Faţamasnā 'A`yunahum Fadhūqū `Adhābī Wa Nudhuri
And they sought to remove him from his guests; so We diverted their eyes. Taste My retribution; you have been warned.

فَانطَلَقَا حَتَّى إِذَا أَتَيَا أَهْلَ قَرْيَة ٍ اسْتَطْعَمَا أَهْلَهَا فَأَبَوْا أَنْ يُضَيِّفُوهُمَا فَوَجَدَا فِيهَا جِدَارا ً يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَنقَضَّ فَأَقَامَه ُُ قَالَ لَوْ شِئْتَ لاَتَّخَذْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرا ً
Fānţalaqā Ĥattá 'Idhā 'Atayā 'Ahla Qaryatin Astaţ`amā 'Ahlahā Fa'abaw 'An YuĐayyifūhumā Fawajadā Fīhā Jidārāan Yurīdu 'An YanqaĐĐa Fa'aqāmahu Qāla Law Shi'ta Lāttakhadhta `Alayhi 'Ajrāan
So they ventured forth until they came to the people of a town. They requested food from its people but they refused to host them. Then they found a wall which was close to collapsing, so he built it. He said: "If you had wished, you could have asked a wage for it!"
