Dad-Ghayn-Tha
Collected, confused or confounded. Washed without cleansing. Felt (for a certain purpose). Complications.
A handful of herbs mixed together, fresh and dry. A handful of twigs of trees or shrubs or of the fruit-stalks of the raceme of a palm-tree. Whatever that is collected or bundled together and grasped with the hand.
A deed that is of mixed kind, not pure or not sincere. Something which is no good.
To be said of a she-camel, of which one doubts whether she be fat, and which one therefore feels with his hand (the hump), to know whether she be fat or not.
One who hides himself in a thicket or the like, and frightens boys by a sound reiterated in his fauces.
Rain that moistens the earth and the herbage.

12:44
قَالُوا أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلاَم ٍ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِتَأْوِيلِ الأَحْلاَمِ بِعَالِمِينَ
Qālū 'AĐghāthu 'Aĥlāmin Wa Mā Naĥnu Bita'wīli Al-'Aĥlāmi Bi`ālimīna
They said: "It is nothing except bad dreams; and we are not knowledgeable in the interpretation of dreams."
21:5
بَلْ قَالُوا أَضْغَاثُ أَحْلاَم ٍ بَلْ افْتَرَاه ُُ بَلْ هُوَ شَاعِر ٌ فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِآيَة ٍ كَمَا أُرْسِلَ الأَوَّلُونَ
Bal Qālū 'AĐghāthu 'Aĥlāmin Bal Aftarāhu Bal Huwa Shā`irun Falya'tinā Bi'āyatin Kamā 'Ursila Al-'Awwalūna
They said: "No, these are just bad dreams; no, he made it up; no, he is a poet. So let him bring us a sign like those who were sent before."

38:44
وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثا ً فَاضْرِبْ بِه ِِ وَلاَ تَحْنَثْ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَاه ُُ صَابِرا ً نِعْمَ الْعَبْدُ إِنَّهُ~ُ أَوَّاب ٌ
Wa Khudh Biyadika Đighthāan FāĐrib Bihi Wa Lā Taĥnath 'Innā Wa Jadnāhu Şābirāan Ni`ma Al-`Abdu 'Innahu 'Awwābun
"And take in your hand a bundle and go forth with it, and do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What a good servant! He was obedient.
