بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَإِذَا قَضَى أَمْرا ً فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَه ُُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
Badī`u As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'ArĐi Wa 'Idhā QaĐá 'Amrāan Fa'innamā Yaqūlu Lahu Kun Fayakūnu
Initiator of the heavens and the earth, when He decrees a command, He merely says to it: 'Be,' and it is.
6:101
بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ أَنَّى يَكُونُ لَه ُُ وَلَد ٌ وَلَمْ تَكُنْ لَه ُُ صَاحِبَة ٌ وَخَلَقَ كُلَّ شَيْء ٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيم ٌ
Badī`u As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'ArĐi 'Anná Yakūnu Lahu Waladun Wa Lam Takun Lahu Şāĥibatun Wa Khalaqa Kulla Shay'in Wa Huwa Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun
Originator of the heavens and the earth, how can He have a son when He did not take a wife? And He created all things and He is knowledgeable in all things.

قُلْ مَا كُنْتُ بِدْعا ً مِنَ الرُّسُلِ وَمَا أَدْرِي مَا يُفْعَلُ بِي وَلاَ بِكُمْ إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلاَّ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ وَمَا أَنَا إِلاَّ نَذِير ٌ مُبِين ٌ
Qul Mā Kuntu Bid`āan Mina Ar-Rusuli Wa Mā 'Adrī Mā Yuf`alu Bī Wa Lā Bikum 'In 'Attabi`u 'Illā Mā Yūĥá 'Ilayya Wa Mā 'Anā 'Illā Nadhīrun Mubīnun
Say: I am no different from the other messengers, nor do I know what will happen to me or to you. I only follow what is inspired to me. I am no more than a clear warner

ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَى آثَارِهِمْ بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الإِنجِيلَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوه ُُ رَأْفَة ً وَرَحْمَة ً وَرَهْبَانِيَّة ً ابْتَدَعُوهَا مَا كَتَبْنَاهَا عَلَيْهِمْ إِلاَّ ابْتِغَاءَ رِضْوَانِ اللَّهِ فَمَا رَعَوْهَا حَقَّ رِعَايَتِهَا فَآتَيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ وَكَثِير ٌ مِنْهُمْ فَاسِقُونَ
Thumma Qaffaynā `Alá 'Āthārihim Birusulinā Wa Qaffaynā Bi`īsá Abni Maryama Wa 'Ātaynāhu Al-'Injīla Wa Ja`alnā Fī Qulūbi Al-Ladhīna Attaba`ūhu Ra'fatan Wa Raĥmatan Wa Rahbānīyatan Abtada`ūhā Mā Katabnāhā `Alayhim 'Illā Abtighā'a RiĐwāni Allāhi Famā Ra`awhā Ĥaqqa Ri`āyatihā Fa'ātaynā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Minhum 'Ajrahum Wa Kathīrun Minhum Fāsiqūna
Then We sent in their tracks Our messengers. And We sent Jesus, son of Mary, and We gave him the Gospel, and We ordained in the hearts of his followers kindness and mercy. But they invented Monasticism which We never decreed for them. They wanted to please God, but they did not observe it the way it should have been observed. Consequently, We gave those who believed among them their recompense, while many of them were wicked.
