وَقَالَ مُوسَى إِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ مُتَكَبِّر ٍ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ بِيَوْمِ الْحِسَابِ
Wa Qāla Mūsá 'Innī `Udhtu Birabbī Wa Rabbikum Min Kulli Mutakabbirin Lā Yu'uminu Biyawmi Al-Ĥisābi
And Moses said: I seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord from every arrogant one who does not believe in the Day of Reckoning
44:20
وَإِنِّي عُذْتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمْ أَنْ تَرْجُمُونِ
Wa 'Innī `Udhtu Birabbī Wa Rabbikum 'An Tarjumūni
And I seek refuge with my Lord and your Lord, should you stone me.

2:67
وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ~ِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تَذْبَحُوا بَقَرَة ً قَالُوا أَتَتَّخِذُنَا هُزُوا ً قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ أَنْ أَكُونَ مِنَ الْجَاهِلِين
Wa 'Idh Qāla Mūsá Liqawmihi 'Inna Allāha Ya'murukum 'An Tadhbaĥū Baqaratan Qālū 'Atattakhidhunā Huzūan Qāla 'A`ūdhu Billāhi 'An 'Akūna Mina Al-Jāhilīn
And Moses said to his people: "God orders you to slaughter a heifer." They said: "Do you mock us?" He said: "I seek refuge with God that I not be of the ignorant ones."
11:47
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَسْأَلَكَ مَا لَيْسَ لِي بِه ِِ عِلْم ٌ وَإِلاَّ تَغْفِرْ لِي وَتَرْحَمْنِي أَكُنْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Qāla Rabbi 'Innī 'A`ūdhu Bika 'An 'As'alaka Mā Laysa Lī Bihi `Ilmun Wa 'Illā Taghfir Lī Wa Tarĥamnī 'Akun Mina Al-Khāsirīna
He said: "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from asking You what I do not have knowledge of. And if You do not forgive me and have mercy on me, I will be of the losers!"
19:18
قَالَتْ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِالرَّحْمَنِ مِنْكَ إِنْ كُنتَ تَقِيّا ً
Qālat 'Innī 'A`ūdhu Bir-Raĥmani Minka 'In Kunta Taqīyāan
She said: "I seek refuge with the Almighty from you if you are righteous."
23:97
وَقُلْ رَبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ
Wa Qul Rabbi 'A`ūdhu Bika Min Hamazāti Ash-Shayāţīni
And say: "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the whispers of the devils."
23:98
وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُونِ
Wa 'A`ūdhu Bika Rabbi 'An YaĥĐurūni
"And I seek refuge with you O Lord that they should come near."
72:6
وَأَنَّه ُُ كَانَ رِجَال ٌ مِنَ الإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَال ٍ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقا ً
Wa 'Annahu Kāna Rijālun Mina Al-'Insi Ya`ūdhūna Birijālin Mina Al-Jinni Fazādūhum Rahaqāan
And there were men from among mankind who used to seek help from the men among the Jinn, but they only helped increase them in sin.
113:1
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
Qul 'A`ūdhu Birabbi Al-Falaqi
Say: "I seek refuge with the Lord of the dawn,"
114:1
قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
Qul 'A`ūdhu Birabbi An-Nāsi
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the people,

وَرَاوَدَتْهُ الَّتِي هُوَ فِي بَيْتِهَا عَنْ نَفْسِه ِِ وَغَلَّقَتِ الأَبْوَابَ وَقَالَتْ هَيْتَ لَكَ قَالَ مَعَاذَ اللَّهِ إِنَّه ُُ رَبِّي أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَايَ إِنَّهُ لاَ يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ
Wa Rāwadat/hu Allatī Huwa Fī Baytihā `An Nafsihi Wa Ghallaqati Al-'Abwāba Wa Qālat Hayta Laka Qāla Ma`ādha Allāhi 'Innahu Rabbī 'Aĥsana Mathwāya 'Innahu Lā Yufliĥu Až-žālimūna
And the woman, in whose house he was staying, attempted to seduce him away from himself. And she closed the doors and said: "I have prepared myself for you." He said: "I seek refuge with God, He is my Lord, He has made good my stay; the wicked do not succeed."
12:79
قَالَ مَعَاذَ اللَّهِ أَنْ نَأْخُذَ إِلاَّ مَنْ وَجَدْنَا مَتَاعَنَا عِنْدَهُ~ُ إِنَّا إِذا ً لَظَالِمُونَ
Qāla Ma`ādha Allāhi 'An Na'khudha 'Illā Man Wajadnā Matā`anā `Indahu 'Innā 'Idhāan Lažālimūna
He said: "Refuge is sought with God that we would take anyone except he whom we found our belongings with. Indeed, we would then be wrong doers."

فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنْثَى وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالأُنْثَى وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Falammā WaĐa`at/hā Qālat Rabbi 'Innī WaĐa`tuhā 'Unthá Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā WaĐa`at Wa Laysa Adh-Dhakaru Kāl'unthá Wa 'Innī Sammaytuhā Maryama Wa 'Innī 'U`īdhuhā Bika Wa Dhurrīyatahā Mina Ash-Shayţāni Ar-Rajīmi
So when she had delivered she said: "My Lord, I have delivered a female," and God is fully aware of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her and her progeny with You from the outcast devil."
ista'adha

7:200
وَإِمَّا يَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَزْغ ٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّه ُُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيم ٌ
Wa 'Immā Yanzaghannaka Mina Ash-Shayţāni Nazghun Fāsta`idh Billāhi 'Innahu Samī`un `Alīmun
And if bitterness from the devil afflicts you, then seek refuge with God. He is the Hearer, the Knower.
16:98
فَإِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Fa'idhā Qara'ta Al-Qur'āna Fāsta`idh Billāhi Mina Ash-Shayţāni Ar-Rajīmi
When you read the Qur'an, you shall seek refuge with God from the outcast devil.
40:56
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي آيَاتِ اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَانٍ أَتَاهُمْ إِنْ فِي صُدُورِهِمْ إِلاَّ كِبْر ٌ مَا هُمْ بِبَالِغِيه ِِ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّه ُُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yujādilūna Fī 'Āyāti Allāhi Bighayri Sulţānin 'Atāhum 'In Fī Şudūrihim 'Illā Kibrun Mā Hum Bibālighīhi Fāsta`idh Billāhi 'Innahu Huwa As-Samī`u Al-Başīru
Surely, those who dispute about the revelations of God without any authority given to them, there is nothing except arrogance in their chests, which they do not perceive. Therefore, seek refuge withGod; He is the Hearer, the Seer.
41:36
وَإِمَّا يَنْزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَزْغ ٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ إِنَّه ُُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
