50:18
مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْل ٍ إِلاَّ لَدَيْهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيد ٌ
Mā Yalfižu Min Qawlin 'Illā Ladayhi Raqībun `Atīdun
He does not utter a word except a watcher is constantly with him.
50:23
وَقَالَ قَرِينُه ُُ هَذَا مَا لَدَيَّ عَتِيد ٌ
Wa Qāla Qarīnuhu Hādhā Mā Ladayya `Atīdun
And his associate said: Here is one who is a transgressor.

4:18
وَلَيْسَتِ التَّوبَةُ لِلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ السَّيِّئَاتِ حَتَّى إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ إِنِّي تُبْتُ الآنَ وَلاَ الَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُوْلَائِكَ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَاباً أَلِيما ً
Wa Laysati At-Tawbatu Lilladhīna Ya`malūna As-Sayyi'āti Ĥattá 'Idhā ĤaĐara 'Aĥadahumu Al-Mawtu Qāla 'Innī Tubtu Al-'Āna Wa Lā Al-Ladhīna Yamūtūna Wa Hum Kuffārun 'Ūlā'ika 'A`tadnā Lahum `Adhābāan 'Alīmāan
And there will be no repentance for those who commit sin then when death comes upon any one of them he says: "I repent now!" Nor for those who die while they are rejecters. For those We have prepared a painful retribution.
4:37
الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبُخْلِ وَيَكْتُمُونَ مَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِه ِِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابا ً مُهِينا ً
Al-Ladhīna Yabkhalūna Wa Ya'murūna An-Nāsa Bil-Bukhli Wa Yaktumūna Mā 'Ātāhumu Allāhu Min FaĐlihi Wa 'A`tadnā Lilkāfirīna `Adhābāan Muhīnāan
Those who are stingy and order the people to stinginess, and they conceal what God has given them from His bounty. And We have prepared for the rejecters a humiliating retribution.
4:151
أُوْلَائِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَ حَقّا ً وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابا ً مُهِينا ً
'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Kāfirūna Ĥaqqāan Wa 'A`tadnā Lilkāfirīna `Adhābāan Muhīnāan
These are the true rejecters; and We have prepared for the rejecters a humiliating retribution.
4:161
وَأَخْذِهِمُ الرِّبَا وَقَدْ نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَأَكْلِهِمْ أَمْوَالَ النَّاسِ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ مِنْهُمْ عَذَاباً أَلِيما ً
Wa 'Akhdhihimu Ar-Ribā Wa Qad Nuhū `Anhu Wa 'Aklihim 'Amwāla An-Nāsi Bil-Bāţili Wa 'A`tadnā Lilkāfirīna Minhum `Adhābāan 'Alīmāan
And for their taking of usury, while they were prohibited from doing so, and for their consuming the money of the people unjustly. We have prepared for the disbelievers among them a painful retribution.

12:31
فَلَمَّا سَمِعَتْ بِمَكْرِهِنَّ أَرْسَلَتْ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَعْتَدَتْ لَهُنَّ مُتَّكَأ ً وَآتَتْ كُلَّ وَاحِدَة ٍ مِنْهُنَّ سِكِّينا ً وَقَالَتِ اخْرُجْ عَلَيْهِنَّ فَلَمَّا رَأَيْنَهُ~ُ أَكْبَرْنَه ُُ وَقَطَّعْنَ أَيْدِيَهُنَّ وَقُلْنَ حَاشَ لِلَّهِ مَا هَذَا بَشَرا ً إِنْ هَذَا إِلاَّ مَلَك ٌ كَرِيم ٌ
Falammā Sami`at Bimakrihinna 'Arsalat 'Ilayhinna Wa 'A`tadat Lahunna Muttaka'an Wa 'Ātat Kulla Wāĥidatin Minhunna Sikkīnāan Wa Qālati Akhruj `Alayhinna Falammā Ra'aynahu 'Akbarnahu Wa Qaţţa`na 'Aydiyahunna Wa Qulna Ĥāsha Lillāhi Mā Hādhā Basharāan 'In Hādhā 'Illā Malakun Karīmun
So when she heard of their scheming, she sent for them and prepared a banquet for them, and she gave each one of them a knife. And she said: "Come out to them," so when they saw him they exalted him and cut their hands, and they said: "Praise be to God, this is not a human being, but a blessed angel!"
17:10
وَأَنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَاباً أَلِيما ً
Wa 'Anna Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna Bil-'Ākhirati 'A`tadnā Lahum `Adhābāan 'Alīmāan
And for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have prepared for them a painful retribution.
18:29
وَقُلِ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ فَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيُؤْمِنْ وَمَنْ شَاءَ فَلْيَكْفُرْ إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ نَاراً أَحَاطَ بِهِمْ سُرَادِقُهَا وَإِنْ يَسْتَغِيثُوا يُغَاثُوا بِمَاء ٍ كَالْمُهْلِ يَشْوِي الْوُجُوه ََ بِئْسَ الشَّرَابُ وَسَاءَتْ مُرْتَفَقا ً
Wa Quli Al-Ĥaqqu Min Rabbikum Faman Shā'a Falyu'umin Wa Man Shā'a Falyakfur 'Innā 'A`tadnā Lilžžālimīna Nārāan 'Aĥāţa Bihim Surādiquhā Wa 'In Yastaghīthū Yughāthū Bimā'in Kālmuhli Yashwī Al-Wujūha Bi'sa Ash-Sharābu Wa Sā'at Murtafaqāan
And say: "The truth is from your Lord, so let whoever desires believe, and whoever desires reject." We have prepared for the wicked a Fire whose walls will be surrounding them. And if they cry out, they are given a water like boiling oil which burns their faces. What a dreadful drink and what a miserable place!
18:102
أَفَحَسِبَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَنْ يَتَّخِذُوا عِبَادِي مِنْ دُونِي أَوْلِيَاءَ إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكَافِرِينَ نُزُلا ً
'Afaĥasiba Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'An Yattakhidhū `Ibādī Min Dūnī 'Awliyā'a 'Innā 'A`tadnā Jahannama Lilkāfirīna Nuzulāan
Did those who reject think that they could take My servants as allies besides Me? We have prepared Hell for the rejecters as a dwelling.
25:11
بَلْ كَذَّبُوا بِالسَّاعَةِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِمَنْ كَذَّبَ بِالسَّاعَةِ سَعِيرا ً
Bal Kadhdhabū Bis-Sā`ati Wa 'A`tadnā Liman Kadhdhaba Bis-Sā`ati Sa`īrāan
But they have denied the Hour, and We have prepared for those who deny the Hour a flaming Fire.
25:37
وَقَوْمَ نُوح ٍ لَمَّا كَذَّبُوا الرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ آيَة ً وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ عَذَاباً أَلِيما ً
Wa Qawma Nūĥin Lammā Kadhdhabū Ar-Rusula 'Aghraqnāhum Wa Ja`alnāhum Lilnnāsi 'Āyatan Wa 'A`tadnā Lilžžālimīna `Adhābāan 'Alīmāan
And the people of Noah, when they denied the messengers We drowned them, and We made them a lesson for the people. And We have prepared for the wicked a painful retribution.
33:31
وَمَنْ يَقْنُتْ مِنْكُنَّ لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِه ِِ وَتَعْمَلْ صَالِحا ً نُؤْتِهَا أَجْرَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهَا رِزْقا ً كَرِيما ً
Wa Man Yaqnut Minkunna Lillāhi Wa Rasūlihi Wa Ta`mal Şāliĥāan Nu'utihā 'Ajrahā Marratayni Wa 'A`tadnā Lahā Rizqāan Karīmāan
And any of you who is dutiful to God and His messenger, and does good works, We will grant her double the recompense, and We have prepared for her a generous provision.
48:13
وَمَنْ لَمْ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِه ِِ فَإِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ سَعِيرا ً
Wa Man Lam Yu'umin Billāhi Wa Rasūlihi Fa'innā 'A`tadnā Lilkāfirīna Sa`īrāan
Anyone who does not believe in God and His messenger, then We have prepared for the rejecters a Fire.
67:5
وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا رُجُوما ً لِلشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِيرِ
Wa Laqad Zayyannā As-Samā'a Ad-Dunyā Bimaşābīĥa Wa Ja`alnāhā Rujūmāan Lilshshayāţīni Wa 'A`tadnā Lahum `Adhāba As-Sa`īri
And We have adorned the lower heaven with lamps, and We made it with projectiles against the devils; and We prepared for them the retribution of the blazing Fire.
76:4
إِنَّا أَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَافِرِينَ سَلاَسِلا ً وَأَغْلاَلا ً وَسَعِيرا ً
'Innā 'A`tadnā Lilkāfirīna Salāsilāan Wa 'Aghlālāan Wa Sa`īrāan
We have prepared for the rejecters chains and shackles and a blazing Fire.
