Did they not roam the earth and note how was the consequence for those who were before them? And they were even more powerful than they in strength. But nothing can inhibit God be it in the heavens, or the earth. He is Knowledgeable, Omnipotent.

'Inna Mā Tū`adūna La'ātin Wa Mā 'Antum Bimu`jizīna

What you have been promised will come, you cannot escape it.

9:2

Wa 'Adhānun Mina Allāhi Wa Rasūlihi 'Ilá An-Nāsi Yawma Al-Ĥajji Al-'Akbari 'Anna Allāha Barī'un Mina Al-Mushrikīna Wa Rasūluhu Fa'in Tubtum Fahuwa Khayrun Lakum Wa 'In Tawallaytum Fā`lamū 'Annakum Ghayru Mu`jizī Allāhi Wa Bashshiri Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin

And a proclamation from God and His messenger to the people on the day of the greater Pilgrimage: "That God and His messenger are innocent from the polytheists." If you repent, then it is better for you, and if you turn away, then know that you will not escape God. And give news to those who have rejected of a painful retribution.

10:53
Wa Yastanbi'ūnaka 'Aĥaqqun Huwa Qul 'Ī Wa Rabbī 'Innahu Laĥaqqun Wa Mā 'Antum Bimu`jizīna

And they seek news from you: "Is it true?" Say: "Yes, by my Lord it is true, and you cannot escape from it."

11:20
'Ūlā'ika Lam Yakūnū Mu`jizīna Fī Al-'ArĐi Wa Mā Kāna Lahum Min Dūni Allāhi Min 'Awliyā'a YuĐā`afu Lahumu Al-`Adhābu Mā Kānū Yastaţī`ūna As-Sam`a Wa Mā Kānū Yubşirūna

These are the ones who will not escape on the earth, nor do they have besides God any allies. The retribution will be doubled for them. They were not able to hear, nor could they see.

11:33
Qāla 'Innamā Ya'tīkum Bihi Allāhu 'In Shā'a Wa Mā 'Antum Bimu`jizīna

He said: "It is God who will bring it to you if He wishes; you will not have any escape."

16:46
'Aw Ya'khudhahum Fī Taqallubihim Famā Hum Bimu`jizīna

Or that He will take them in their sleep? For they cannot stop it.

24:57
Lā Taĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Mu`jizīna Fī Al-'ArĐi Wa Ma'wāhumu An-Nāru Wa Labi'sa Al-Maşīru

Do not think that those who disbelieve will remain in the land. Their abode is Hell. What a miserable destiny!

29:22
Wa Mā 'Antum Bimu`jizīna Fī Al-'ArĐi Wa Lā Fī As-Samā'i Wa Mā Lakum Min Dūni Allāhi Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Naşīrin

"And you will not be able to escape this fact, on the earth or in the heavens, nor do you have besides God any ally or victor."

39:51
Fa'aşābahum Sayyi'ātu Mā Kasabū Wa Al-Ladhīna žalamū Min Hā'uulā' Sayuşībuhum Sayyi'ātu Mā Kasabū Wa Mā Hum Bimu`jizīna

So, they suffered the evil of what they had earned. And those who transgressed from among these here will suffer the evil of what they earned; they cannot escape.

42:31
Wa Mā 'Antum Bimu`jizīna Fī Al-'ArĐi Wa Mā Lakum Min Dūni Allāhi Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Naşīrin

And you can never escape, and you have none besides God as an ally or helper.

46:32
Wa Man Lā Yujib Dā`iya Allāhi Falaysa Bimu`jizin Fī Al-'ArĐi Wa Laysa Lahu Min Dūnihi 'Awliyā'u 'Ūlā'ika Fī Đalālin Mubīnin

And whoever does not respond to the caller toGod will not escape in the land, and he will not have besides Him any allies. Such have gone far astray.
