2:178
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِصَاصُ فِي الْقَتْلَى الْحُرُّ بِالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدُ بِالْعَبْدِ وَالأُنثَى بِالأُنثَى فَمَنْ عُفِيَ لَه ُُ مِنْ أَخِيه ِِ شَيْء ٌ فَاتِّبَاع ٌ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَدَاء ٌ إِلَيْهِ بِإِحْسَان ٍ ذَلِكَ تَخْفِيف ٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَة ٌ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَه ُُ عَذَابٌ أَلِيم ٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Kutiba `Alaykumu Al-Qişāşu Fī Al-Qatlá Al-Ĥurru Bil-Ĥurri Wa Al-`Abdu Bil-`Abdi Wa Al-'Unthá Bil-'Unthá Faman `Ufiya Lahu Min 'Akhīhi Shay'un Fa Attibā`un Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa 'Adā'un 'Ilayhi Bi'iĥsānin Dhālika Takhfīfun Min Rabbikum Wa Raĥmatun Famani A`tadá Ba`da Dhālika Falahu `Adhābun 'Alīmun
O you who believe, equivalence has been decreed for you in the case of those who are slain; the free for the free, and the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. Whoever is forgiven anything by his brother, then it is to be followed with kindness and goodness towards him; that is an alleviation from your Lord, and a mercy. Whoever transgresses after that, he will have a painful retribution.
2:178

3:36
فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنْثَى وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالأُنْثَى وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Falammā WaĐa`at/hā Qālat Rabbi 'Innī WaĐa`tuhā 'Unthá Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā WaĐa`at Wa Laysa Adh-Dhakaru Kāl'unthá Wa 'Innī Sammaytuhā Maryama Wa 'Innī 'U`īdhuhā Bika Wa Dhurrīyatahā Mina Ash-Shayţāni Ar-Rajīmi
So when she had delivered she said: "My Lord, I have delivered a female," and God is fully aware of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her and her progeny with You from the outcast devil."
3:36
فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنْثَى وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالأُنْثَى وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Falammā WaĐa`at/hā Qālat Rabbi 'Innī WaĐa`tuhā 'Unthá Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā WaĐa`at Wa Laysa Adh-Dhakaru Kāl'unthá Wa 'Innī Sammaytuhā Maryama Wa 'Innī 'U`īdhuhā Bika Wa Dhurrīyatahā Mina Ash-Shayţāni Ar-Rajīmi
So when she had delivered she said: "My Lord, I have delivered a female," and God is fully aware of what she delivered, "And the male is not like the female, and I have named her Mary, and I seek refuge for her and her progeny with You from the outcast devil."
3:195
فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ أَنِّي لاَ أُضِيعُ عَمَلَ عَامِل ٍ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى بَعْضُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْض ٍ فَالَّذِينَ هَاجَرُوا وَأُخْرِجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ وَأُوذُوا فِي سَبِيلِي وَقَاتَلُوا وَقُتِلُوا لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّئَاتِهِمْ وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ جَنَّات ٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الأَنْهَارُ ثَوَابا ً مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَه ُُ حُسْنُ الثَّوَابِ
Fāstajāba Lahum Rabbuhum 'Annī Lā 'UĐī`u `Amala `Āmilin Minkum Min Dhakarin 'Aw 'Unthá Ba`Đukum Min Ba`Đin Fa-Al-Ladhīna Hājarū Wa 'Ukhrijū Min Diyārihim Wa 'Ūdhū Fī Sabīlī Wa Qātalū Wa Qutilū La'ukaffiranna `Anhum Sayyi'ātihim Wa La'udkhilannahum Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Thawābāan Min `Indi Allāhi Wa Allāhu `Indahu Ĥusnu Ath-Thawābi
Their Lord answered them: "I do not waste the work of any worker from among you, whether male or female, you are all as each other. For those who emigrated and were driven-out from their homes and were harmed in My cause, and they fought and were killed, I will forgive for them their sins and admit them to estates with rivers flowing beneath them." A recompense from God; and God has the best recompense.
4:11
يُوصِيكُمُ اللَّهُ فِي أَوْلاَدِكُمْ لِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الأُنثَيَيْنِ فَإِنْ كُنَّ نِسَاء ً فَوْقَ اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُنَّ ثُلُثَا مَا تَرَكَ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ وَاحِدَة ً فَلَهَا النِّصْفُ وَلِأَبَوَيْهِ لِكُلِّ وَاحِد ٍ مِنْهُمَا السُّدُسُ مِمَّا تَرَكَ إِنْ كَانَ لَه ُُ وَلَد ٌ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَه ُُ وَلَد ٌ وَوَرِثَهُ~ ُ أَبَوَاه ُُ فَلِأَمِّهِ الثُّلُثُ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَهُ~ ُ إِخْوَة ٌ فَلِأَمِّهِ السُّدُسُ مِنْ بَعْدِ وَصِيَّة ٍ يُوصِي بِهَا أَوْ دَيْن ٍ آبَاؤُكُمْ وَأَبْنَاؤُكُمْ لاَ تَدْرُونَ أَيُّهُمْ أَقْرَبُ لَكُمْ نَفْعا ً فَرِيضَة ً مِنَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيماً حَكِيما ً
Yūşīkumu Allāhu Fī 'Awlādikum Lildhdhakari Mithlu Ĥažži Al-'Unthayayni Fa'in Kunna Nisā'an Fawqa Athnatayni Falahunna Thuluthā Mā Taraka Wa 'In Kānat Wāĥidatan Falahā An-Nişfu Wa Li'abawayhi Likulli Wāĥidin Minhumā As-Sudusu Mimmā Taraka 'In Kāna Lahu Waladun Fa'in Lam Yakun Lahu Waladun Wa Warithahu 'Abawāhu Fali'ammihi Ath-Thuluthu Fa'in Kāna Lahu 'Ikhwatun Fali'ammihi As-Sudusu Min Ba`di Waşīyatin Yūşī Bihā 'Aw Daynin 'Ābā'uukum Wa 'Abnā'uukum Lā Tadrūna 'Ayyuhum 'Aqrabu Lakum Naf`āan FarīĐatan Mina Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Kāna `Alīmāan Ĥakīmāan
God directs you regarding the inheritance of your children: "To the male shall be as that given to two females. If they are women, more than two, then they will have two thirds of what is inherited. And if she is only one, then she will have one half. And to his parents, each one of them shall have one sixth of what is inherited, if he has a child. If he has no child and his parents are the heirs, then to his mother is one third; if he has siblings then to his mother is one sixth. All after a will is carried through or a debt. Your parents and your children, you do not know which are closer to you in benefit, a directive from God, for God is Knowledgeable, Wise."
4:117
إِنْ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ~ ِ إِلاَّ إِنَاثا ً وَإِنْ يَدْعُونَ إِلاَّ شَيْطَانا ً مَرِيدا ً
'In Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi 'Illā 'Ināthāan Wa 'In Yad`ūna 'Illā Shayţānāan Marīdāan
They are calling on females besides Him. Indeed, they are only calling on a persistent devil.
4:124
وَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِنَ الصَّالِحَاتِ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِن ٌ فَأُوْلَائِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلاَ يُظْلَمُونَ نَقِيرا ً
Wa Man Ya`mal Mina Aş-Şāliĥāti Min Dhakarin 'Aw 'Unthá Wa Huwa Mu'uminun Fa'ūlā'ika Yadkhulūna Al-Jannata Wa Lā Yužlamūna Naqīrāan
And whoever works good, whether male or female, and is a believer, then these will be admitted to the Paradise, and they will not be wronged in the least.
4:176
يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلاَلَةِ إِنِ امْرُؤٌ هَلَكَ لَيْسَ لَه ُُ وَلَد ٌ وَلَهُ~ ُ أُخْت ٌ فَلَهَا نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَا إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهَا وَلَد ٌ فَإِنْ كَانَتَا اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُمَا الثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَ وَإِنْ كَانُوا إِخْوَة ً رِجَالا ً وَنِسَاء ً فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الأُنثَيَيْنِ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَضِلُّوا وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيم ٌ
Yastaftūnaka Quli Allāhu Yuftīkum Fī Al-Kalālati 'Ini Amru'uun Halaka Laysa Lahu Waladun Wa Lahu 'Ukhtun Falahā Nişfu Mā Taraka Wa Huwa Yarithuhā 'In Lam Yakun Lahā Waladun Fa'in Kānatā Athnatayni Falahumā Ath-Thuluthāni Mimmā Taraka Wa 'In Kānū 'Ikhwatan Rijālāan Wa Nisā'an Falildhdhakari Mithlu Ĥažži Al-'Unthayayni Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakum 'An TaĐillū Wa Allāhu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun
They seek a ruling from you, say: "God gives you the ruling for those who have no descendants. If a person passes away and has no children but has a sister, then she shall receive half of what he leaves behind. And he will inherit from her if she has no child. However, if he has two sisters, then they will receive two thirds of what he left behind; and if he has siblings, men and women, then the male shall receive twice what the female receives." God makes clear to you that you do not stray; God is aware of all things.
6:143
ثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاج ٍ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْمَعْزِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ أَالذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الأُنثَيَيْنِ نَبِّئُونِي بِعِلْم ٍ إِنْ كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Thamāniyata 'Azwājin Mina AĐ-Đa'ni Athnayni Wa Mina Al-Ma`zi Athnayni Qul 'Āldhdhakarayni Ĥarrama 'Ami Al-'Unthayayni 'Ammā Ashtamalat `Alayhi 'Arĥāmu Al-'Unthayayni Nabbi'ūnī Bi`ilmin 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna
Eight in pairs: from the lambs two, and from the goats two. Say: "Is it the two males that He forbade or the two females, or what the wombs of the two females bore? Inform me if you are truthful!"
6:143
ثَمَانِيَةَ أَزْوَاج ٍ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْمَعْزِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ أَالذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الأُنْثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الأُنثَيَيْنِ نَبِّئُونِي بِعِلْم ٍ إِنْ كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Thamāniyata 'Azwājin Mina AĐ-Đa'ni Athnayni Wa Mina Al-Ma`zi Athnayni Qul 'Āldhdhakarayni Ĥarrama 'Ami Al-'Unthayayni 'Ammā Ashtamalat `Alayhi 'Arĥāmu Al-'Unthayayni Nabbi'ūnī Bi`ilmin 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna
Eight in pairs: from the lambs two, and from the goats two. Say: "Is it the two males that He forbade or the two females, or what the wombs of the two females bore? Inform me if you are truthful!"
6:144
وَمِنَ الإِبِلِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ أَالذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الأُنثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الأُنثَيَيْنِ أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ وَصَّاكُمُ اللَّهُ بِهَذَا فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبا ً لِيُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْم ٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Wa Mina Al-'Ibili Athnayni Wa Mina Al-Baqari Athnayni Qul 'Āldhdhakarayni Ĥarrama 'Ami Al-'Unthayayni 'Ammā Ashtamalat `Alayhi 'Arĥāmu Al-'Unthayayni 'Am Kuntum Shuhadā'a 'Idh Waşşākumu Allāhu Bihadhā Faman 'Ažlamu Mimmani Aftará `Alá Allāhi Kadhibāan LiyuĐilla An-Nāsa Bighayri `Ilmin 'Inna Allāha Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-žālimīna
And from the camels two, and from the cattle two. Say: "Is it the two males that He forbade or the two females, or what the wombs of the two females bore? Or were you witnesses when God ordered you with this?" Who is more wicked than he who invents lies about God to misguide the people without knowledge. God does not guide the wicked people.
6:144
وَمِنَ الإِبِلِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْبَقَرِ اثْنَيْنِ قُلْ أَالذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ أَمِ الأُنثَيَيْنِ أَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ أَرْحَامُ الأُنثَيَيْنِ أَمْ كُنتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ وَصَّاكُمُ اللَّهُ بِهَذَا فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَى عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبا ً لِيُضِلَّ النَّاسَ بِغَيْرِ عِلْم ٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ

13:8
اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنثَى وَمَا تَغِيضُ الأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَه ُُ بِمِقْدَار ٍ
Allāhu Ya`lamu Mā Taĥmilu Kullu 'Unthá Wa Mā TaghīĐu Al-'Arĥāmu Wa Mā Tazdādu Wa Kullu Shay'in `Indahu Bimiqdārin
God knows what every female carries, and how short her pregnancy is or how long. And everything with Him is measured.
16:58
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِالأُنثَى ظَلَّ وَجْهُه ُُ مُسْوَدّا ً وَهُوَ كَظِيم ٌ
Wa 'Idhā Bushshira 'Aĥaduhum Bil-'Unthá žalla Wajhuhu Muswaddāan Wa Huwa Kažīmun
And when one of them is given news of a female, his face becomes darkened and he is in grief!
16:97
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحا ً مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِن ٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّه ُُ حَيَاة ً طَيِّبَة ً وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُمْ بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ
Man `Amila Şāliĥāan Min Dhakarin 'Aw 'Unthá Wa Huwa Mu'uminun Falanuĥyiyannahu Ĥayāatan Ţayyibatan Wa Lanajziyannahum 'Ajrahum Bi'aĥsani Mā Kānū Ya`malūna
Whoever does good works, whether male or female, and is a believer, We will give him a good life and We will reward them their dues with the best of what they used to do.
17:40
أَفَأَصْفَاكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِالْبَنِينَ وَاتَّخَذَ مِنَ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ إِنَاثا ً إِنَّكُمْ لَتَقُولُونَ قَوْلاً عَظِيما ً
'Afa'aşfākum Rabbukum Bil-Banīna Wa Attakhadha Mina Al-Malā'ikati 'Ināthāan 'Innakum Lataqūlūna Qawlāan `Ažīmāan
Has your Lord preferred for you the males, while He takes the females as angels? You are indeed saying a grave thing!
35:11
وَاللَّهُ خَلَقَكُمْ مِنْ تُرَاب ٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ نُطْفَة ٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَكُمْ أَزْوَاجا ً وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنْثَى وَلاَ تَضَعُ إِلاَّ بِعِلْمِه ِِ وَمَا يُعَمَّرُ مِنْ مُعَمَّر ٍ وَلاَ يُنْقَصُ مِنْ عُمُرِهِ~ ِ إِلاَّ فِي كِتَاب ٍ إِنَّ ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ يَسِير ٌ
Wa Allāhu Khalaqakum Min Turābin Thumma Min Nuţfatin Thumma Ja`alakum 'Azwājāan Wa Mā Taĥmilu Min 'Unthá Wa Lā TaĐa`u 'Illā Bi`ilmihi Wa Mā Yu`ammaru Min Mu`ammarin Wa Lā Yunqaşu Min `Umurihi 'Illā Fī Kitābin 'Inna Dhālika `Alá Allāhi Yasīrun
And God created you from dust, then from a seed, then He made you into pairs. And no female becomes pregnant, nor gives birth, without His knowledge. Nor does anyone have his life extended, or his life is shortened, except in a record. This is easy for God.
37:150
أَمْ خَلَقْنَا الْمَلاَئِكَةَ إِنَاثا ً وَهُمْ شَاهِدُونَ
'Am Khalaqnā Al-Malā'ikata 'Ināthāan Wa Hum Shāhidūna
Or did We create the angels as females while they witnessed?
40:40
مَنْ عَمِلَ سَيِّئَة ً فَلاَ يُجْزَى إِلاَّ مِثْلَهَا وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحا ً مِنْ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِن ٌ فَأُوْلَائِكَ يَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّةَ يُرْزَقُونَ فِيهَا بِغَيْرِ حِسَاب ٍ
Man `Amila Sayyi'atan Falā Yujzá 'Illā Mithlahā Wa Man `Amila Şāliĥāan Min Dhakarin 'Aw 'Unthá Wa Huwa Mu'uminun Fa'ūlā'ika Yadkhulūna Al-Jannata Yurzaqūna Fīhā Bighayri Ĥisābin
Whoever does a sin, will not be requited except for its equivalent, and whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, then those will be admitted to the Paradise, where they will receive provision without reckoning.
41:47
إِلَيْهِ يُرَدُّ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَمَا تَخْرُجُ مِنْ ثَمَرَات ٍ مِنْ أَكْمَامِهَا وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنثَى وَلاَ تَضَعُ إِلاَّ بِعِلْمِه ِِ وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِي قَالُوا آذَنَّاكَ مَا مِنَّا مِنْ شَهِيد ٍ
'Ilayhi Yuraddu `Ilmu As-Sā`ati Wa Mā Takhruju Min Thamarātin Min 'Akmāmihā Wa Mā Taĥmilu Min 'Unthá Wa Lā TaĐa`u 'Illā Bi`ilmihi Wa Yawma Yunādīhim 'Ayna Shurakā'ī Qālū 'Ādhannāka Mā Minnā Min Shahīdin
To Him belongs the knowledge regarding the Hour. And no fruit emerges from its sheath, nor does any female conceive or give birth, except by His knowledge. And on the Day He asks them: Where are My partners? They will say: With your permission, none of us will bear witness to such!
42:49
لِلَّهِ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ يَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ إِنَاثا ً وَيَهَبُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ الذُّكُورَ
Lillāhi Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'ArĐi Yakhluqu Mā Yashā'u Yahabu Liman Yashā'u 'Ināthāan Wa Yahabu Liman Yashā'u Adh-Dhukūra
To God is the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He creates whatever He wills. He bestows daughters to whoever He wills, and bestows sons to whoever He wills.
42:50
أَوْ يُزَوِّجُهُمْ ذُكْرَانا ً وَإِنَاثا ً وَيَجْعَلُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ عَقِيما ً إِنَّه ُُ عَلِيم ٌ قَدِير ٌ
'Aw Yuzawwijuhum Dhukrānāan Wa 'Ināthāan Wa Yaj`alu Man Yashā'u `Aqīmāan 'Innahu `Alīmun Qadīrun
Or, He may bestow them with both sons and daughters, and He makes whom He wills barren. He is Knowledgeable, Capable.
43:19
وَجَعَلُوا الْمَلاَئِكَةَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَادُ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَاثاً أَشَهِدُوا خَلْقَهُمْ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَادَتُهُمْ وَيُسْأَلُونَ
Wa Ja`alū Al-Malā'ikata Al-Ladhīna Hum `Ibādu Ar-Raĥmāni 'Ināthāan 'Ashahidū Khalqahum Satuktabu Shahādatuhum Wa Yus'alūna
And they have claimed the angels who are with the Almighty are females! Have they been made witness to their creation? We will record their testimony, and they will be asked.
49:13
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَر ٍ وَأُنثَى وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبا ً وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِير ٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu 'Innā Khalaqnākum Min Dhakarin Wa 'Unthá Wa Ja`alnākum Shu`ūbāan Wa Qabā'ila Lita`ārafū 'Inna 'Akramakum `Inda Allāhi 'Atqākum 'Inna Allāha `Alīmun Khabīrun
O people, We created you from a male and female, and We made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Surely, the most honorable among you in the sight of God is the most righteous. God is Knowledgeable, Expert.
53:21
أَلَكُمُ الذَّكَرُ وَلَهُ الأُنثَى
'Alakumu Adh-Dhakaru Wa Lahu Al-'Unthá
Do you have the males, while He has the females?
53:27
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالآخِرَةِ لَيُسَمُّونَ الْمَلاَئِكَةَ تَسْمِيَةَ الأُنْثَى
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna Bil-'Ākhirati Layusammūna Al-Malā'ikata Tasmiyata Al-'Unthá
Those who disbelieve in the Hereafter name the angels with feminine names.
53:45
وَأَنَّه ُُ خَلَقَ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنْثَى
Wa 'Annahu Khalaqa Az-Zawjayni Adh-Dhakara Wa Al-'Unthá
And He is the One who has created the pair, the male and the female.
75:39
فَجَعَلَ مِنْهُ الزَّوْجَيْنِ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنثَى
Faja`ala Minhu Az-Zawjayni Adh-Dhakara Wa Al-'Unthá
Then He made from it the pair, the male and the female.
92:3
وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالأُنْثَى
Wa Mā Khalaqa Adh-Dhakara Wa Al-'Unthá
And by what He has created, the male and female.
