90:1  Not [need] I swear by this territory—
90:2  While you are entirely rightful in this territory.
90:3  By every begetter and what he begot,
90:4  WE did create man in a distended belly
90:5  Does man figure no one is measuring out for him?
90:6  He says, “I have exhausted copious wealth.”
90:7  Does he figure that no one sees him?
90:8  Have WE not rendered two eyes for him?
90:9  And a tongue and two lips?
90:10  And WE have shown him two conspicuous roads?
90:11  Yet, he did not charge up the Aqaba.
90:12  And what has made you ascertain what the Aqaba is—
90:13  freeing of a slave
90:14  or feeding, in a time of consuming hunger,
90:15  an orphan, with claim of proximity
90:16  or a poor one, out in the dust.
90:17  Then he would be of the ones who have believed, and [embraced and] enjoined patience, and [embraced and] enjoined compassion.
90:18  Those are the companions of the consecrated Right.
90:19  And the ones who have disbelieved in OUR signs, they are the companions of the condemned Left.
90:20  A closed fire over them.
