87:1  Contemplate the name of your Rabb: The Transcendentally High.
87:2  HE WHO created then shaped
87:3  And HE WHO measured out [every bit and stage], then gave guidance.
87:4  And HE WHO brought out the fresh pasture,
87:5  then rendered it coiled up stubble.
87:6  WE shall have you recite [the Quran] so you will not forget,
87:7  except what Allah wills. Surely, HE knows the overt and that which hides
87:8  And WE shall ease you toward the ease [of a fulfilled mission]
87:9  So, keep reminding if the reminder has benefitted.
87:10  The one in awe shall stay mindful,
87:11  while the most wretched will spurn it,
87:12  the one who will fuel the biggest fire,
87:13  then in there he will neither die nor live.
87:14  He indeed has succeeded who purifies himself
87:15  While he remembered his Rabb’s name—and thus prayed.
87:16  Nay! You prioritize the earthly life
87:17  while the Hereafter is better and outlasting.
87:18  Precisely this is assuredly in the earlier scrolls—
87:19  the scrolls of Abraham and Moses.
