67:1  The Source of all blessings is HE in WHOSE hand is the Dominion, and HE is in almighty control of all things and their measure.

67:2  HE WHO created death and life, so HE may test which of you is best in conduct. HE is the Almighty, the Forgiving.

67:3  HE WHO created the seven heavens— endlessly replicated. You are not to see any omission in the creation of Al Raḥmān. So then turn back the gaze to it. Do you see any cracks?

67:4  Then turn back the gaze again and yet again— your vision will revert to you enfeebled. And it is to ever fall short.

67:5  WE have adorned the near sky with lamps, and WE have made it a belt of stones for the Satanic entities, and WE have prepared for them a punishment of the Blaze.

67:6  And for the ones who have disbelieved in their Rabb— for them is the agony of Jahannam. And wretched is that destination.

67:7  When they are cast into it, they will hear a gasping to it, while it flares,

67:8  near ready to burst with rage. Every time a batch was cast into it, its keepers asked them, “Did a warner not come to you?”

67:9  They said, “Yes indeed. A warner did come to us, and then, we denied and said, ‘Allah has not sent down anything. You are nothing but one mired in an age-old error.’”

67:10  And they said, “If we had listened, or used our senses, we would not be among the reapers of the Blaze.”

67:11  And thus [at last], they acknowledged their sin. So, away with the reapers of the Blaze.

67:12  Verily, those who are in awe of their Rabb, in all that is hidden from them yet fully manifest to HIM, for them is forgiveness and a transcendent reward.

67:13  Conceal your speech or express it openly, HE is ever knowing of the bosoms’ inner holdings.

67:14  Should HE not know, the One WHO created, while HE is the unfathomably subtle, the all-aware?

67:15  HE it is WHO has made the earth to yield to you; So, walk its diverse terrains and partake from HIS sustenance. And unto HIM is the Resurrection.

67:16  Have you acquired security from One in the Heavens, should HE cause the earth to swallow you— such as when it quakes?

67:17  Or have you acquired security from One in the Heavens, should HE send upon you a deadly storm? So [because you cannot], you shall come to know how [true] MY warning was.

67:18  And the ones before indeed did give the lie the Truth. So then how was MY negation [of them]?

67:19  Have they not seen the birds above them— wings spanning across and folded snug? None is holding them except Al Raḥmān. It is HE— ever seeing of all things.

67:20  Or who is this— he who is a force for you, helping you— other than Al Raḥmān? Surely, the disbelievers are [mired] in nothing but a delusion.

67:21  Or who is this— who will sustain you if HE withholds HIS sustenance? Nay! They have persisted in insolence and aversion.

67:22  Is then one who walks with his face drooped over, better guided [of perspective], or one who walks proper and upright on a straight path?

67:23  Say, “It is HE who brought you into being and gave you the hearing, the sight, and the intellect [you have]. How scarcely are you grateful.”

67:24  Say, “It is HE who scattered you in the land and unto HIM you will be gathered together.”

67:25  And they ask, “When is this promise due— if you tell the truth?”

67:26  Say, “The Knowledge of it is only with Allah and I am only a plain and open warner.”

67:27  So then, when they see it close at hand, the faces of the ones who had disbelieved will be set in gloom and it will be said to them, “This is that which you were calling for.”

67:28  Say, “Have you considered: whether Allah causes me and the ones with me to perish, or whether HE is merciful to us— yet, who is there to save the disbelievers from an agonizing punishment?”

67:29  Say, “HE is Al Raḥmān. We have believed in HIM and in HIM have we placed our trust. Soon enough you will know who is in obvious error.”

67:30  Say, “Have you considered: if in one transformational moment your water were drawn deep underground— would there be anyone to supply you with water of a spring laid bare?”
