100:1 (I swear) by the acts of transgression that taint the soul’s innate purity,

100:2 leading to sinful deeds that blind the soul to truth, burying its moral clarity,

100:3 then to the corrupted nature that cloaks its evil with deceptive arguments as bright as daylight,

100:4 creating a toxic mindset, fueling further deviation

100:5 spreading and infecting communities.

100:6 Indeed, the human being is ungrateful to his Lord

100:7 and he is fully aware of his ingratitude,

100:8 and he is extreme in his selfish love for all that benefits him.

100:9 Does he not know that when what are in the graves are scattered

100:10 and the hearts’ contents are retrieved,

100:11 on that Day, their Lord is fully knowledgeable?
