Today’s Ayat for Thursday, 2020-10-08 / 21 Safar 1442 

For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth,
and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace.
  — al-Furqan 25:63
   as rendered by Muhammad Asad
وَعِبَادُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الَّذِينَ يَمْشُونَ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ هَوْنًا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ الْجَاهِلُونَ قَالُوا سَلَامً

Commentary/example:

When we encounter hate content in the internet, we can make it a point to not participate in it even if we have a valid counterpoint to offer.
People spreading hate are looking for attention, not a healthy conversation.
All  we do by offering a view is fan the flames further.
