5:1 Give ear to my words, Lord Jehovah, and consider my meditation.
5:2 Give ear to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, because it is to you that I pray.
5:3 Lord Jehovah, at dawn you will hear my voice and at dawn I shall be ready and shall appear before you.
5:4 Because you are God, and desire no evil, and no evil one will dwell with you.
5:5 Neither will the proud stand before your eyes; you have hated all workers of falsehood.
5:6 And you will destroy those who speak lies; and the man who sheds blood and the deceiver, Lord Jehovah will reject.
5:7 And I shall enter your house in the multitude of your kindness and I shall worship in the temple of your Holiness.
5:8 In your awe, lead me, Lord Jehovah, and in your righteousness straighten your road in front of me, because of my enemies
5:9 Because there is no righteousness in their mouths, but evil is within them, and their throats are like opened tombs and their tongues subvert.
5:10 God will condemn them; they will fall from their counsels, and in the multitude of their evils cast them out, because they have provoked you.
5:11 All who hope in you will rejoice, and to eternity they will praise you, and you will dwell in them.
5:12 Because you will bless the righteous ones, Lord Jehovah; like an acceptable shield you will cover me.
