12:77
قَالُوا إِنْ يَسْرِقْ فَقَدْ سَرَقَ أَخ ٌ لَه ُُ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَأَسَرَّهَا يُوسُفُ فِي نَفْسِه ِِ وَلَمْ يُبْدِهَا لَهُمْ قَالَ أَنْتُمْ شَرّ ٌ مَكَانا ً وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَصِفُونَ
Qālū 'In Yasriq Faqad Saraqa 'Akhun Lahu Min Qablu Fa'asarrahā Yūsufu Fī Nafsihi Wa Lam Yubdihā Lahum Qāla 'Antum Sharrun Makānāan Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Taşifūna

They said: "If he has stolen, there was a brother of his before who also had stolen." Joseph kept this all inside himself, and did not reveal anything to them. He said: "You are in an awkward position, and God best knows what you describe."

12:81
ارْجِعُوا إِلَى أَبِيكُمْ فَقُولُوا يَا أَبَانَا إِنَّ ابْنَكَ سَرَقَ وَمَا شَهِدْنَا إِلاَّ بِمَا عَلِمْنَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِلْغَيْبِ حَافِظِينَ
Arji`ū 'Ilá 'Abīkum Faqūlū Yā 'Abānā 'Inna Abnaka Saraqa Wa Mā Shahidnā 'Illā Bimā `Alimnā Wa Mā Kunnā Lilghaybi Ĥāfižīna

"Return to your father, and tell him: "Our father, your son has stolen, and we did not witness except what we learned, and we could not know the unseen!"

12:77
قَالُوا إِنْ يَسْرِقْ فَقَدْ سَرَقَ أَخ ٌ لَه ُُ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَأَسَرَّهَا يُوسُفُ فِي نَفْسِه ِِ وَلَمْ يُبْدِهَا لَهُمْ قَالَ أَنْتُمْ شَرّ ٌ مَكَانا ً وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا تَصِفُونَ
Qālū 'In Yasriq Faqad Saraqa 'Akhun Lahu Min Qablu Fa'asarrahā Yūsufu Fī Nafsihi Wa Lam Yubdihā Lahum Qāla 'Antum Sharrun Makānāan Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Taşifūna

60:12
يَاأَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا جَاءَكَ الْمُؤْمِنَاتُ يُبَايِعْنَكَ عَلَى أَنْ لاَ يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئا ً وَلاَ يَسْرِقْنَ وَلاَ يَزْنِينَ وَلاَ يَقْتُلْنَ أَوْلاَدَهُنَّ وَلاَ يَأْتِينَ بِبُهْتَان ٍ يَفْتَرِينَه ُُ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِنَّ وَأَرْجُلِهِنَّ وَلاَ يَعْصِينَكَ فِي مَعْرُوف ٍ فَبَايِعْهُنَّ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُنَّ اللَّهَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُور ٌ رَحِيم ٌ
Yā 'Ayyuhā An-Nabīyu 'Idhā Jā'aka Al-Mu'uminātu Yubāyi`naka `Alá 'An Lā Yushrikna Billāhi Shay'āan Wa Lā Yasriqna Wa Lā Yaznīna Wa Lā Yaqtulna 'Awlādahunna Wa Lā Ya'tīna Bibuhtānin Yaftarīnahu Bayna 'Aydīhinna Wa 'Arjulihinna Wa Lā Ya`şīnaka Fī Ma`rūfin Fabāyi`hunna Wa Astaghfir Lahunna Allāha 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun

O you prophet, if the believing females come to make allegiance to you that they will not set up anything besides God, nor steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill their children, nor fabricate any falsehood, nor disobey you in any matter which is righteous, then you shall accept their allegiance, and ask God to forgive them. God is Forgiver, Merciful.

5:38
وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقْطَعُوا أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَاء ً بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَالا ً مِنَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيم ٌ
Wa As-Sāriqu Wa As-Sāriqatu Fāqţa`ū 'Aydiyahumā Jazā'an Bimā Kasabā Nakālāan Mina Allāhi Wa Allāhu `Azīzun Ĥakīmun

As for the thief, both male and female, you shall cut from their resources - as a penalty for what they have earned - to be made an example of from God. God is Noble, Wise.

5:38
وَالسَّارِقُ وَالسَّارِقَةُ فَاقْطَعُوا أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَاء ً بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَالا ً مِنَ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيم ٌ
Wa As-Sāriqu Wa As-Sāriqatu Fāqţa`ū 'Aydiyahumā Jazā'an Bimā Kasabā Nakālāan Mina Allāhi Wa Allāhu `Azīzun Ĥakīmun

12:70
فَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُمْ بِجَهَازِهِمْ جَعَلَ السِّقَايَةَ فِي رَحْلِ أَخِيه ِِ ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ أَيَّتُهَا الْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسَارِقُونَ
Falammā Jahhazahum Bijahāzihim Ja`ala As-Siqāyata Fī Raĥli 'Akhīhi Thumma 'Adhdhana Mu'uadhdhinun 'Ayyatuhā Al-`Īru 'Innakum Lasāriqūna

So when he furnished them with their provisions, he placed the measuring bowl in the saddlebag of his brother, then a caller cried out: "O you in the caravan, you are thieves!"

12:73
قَالُوا تَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتُمْ مَا جِئْنَا لِنُفْسِدَ فِي الأَرْضِ وَمَا كُنَّا سَارِقِينَ
Qālū Ta-Allāhi Laqad `Alimtum Mā Ji'nā Linufsida Fī Al-'ArĐi Wa Mā Kunnā Sāriqīna

They said: "By God, you know we have not come to cause corruption in the land, and we are not thieves!"

15:18
إِلاَّ مَنِ اسْتَرَقَ السَّمْعَ فَأَتْبَعَه ُُ شِهَاب ٌ مُبِين ٌ
'Illā Mani Astaraqa As-Sam`a Fa'atba`ahu Shihābun Mubīnun

Except he who manages to eavesdrop, he will be pursued by a visible flame.
