It is the same whether any of you openly declares what he says, or conceals it; whether he is hiding in the night or going openly in the day.

impf. act.

17:110

Say: "Call on God or call on the Almighty; by whichever you call on, to Him are the best names." And do not be too loud in making your contact prayer, nor too quiet; but seek a path in between.

20:7
Wa 'In Tajhar Bil-Qawli Fa'innahu Ya`lamu As-Sirra Wa 'Akhfá

And if you will declare openly what you say, then surely He knows the secret and what is hidden.

49:2
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tarfa`ū 'Aşwātakum Fawqa Şawti An-Nabīyi Wa Lā Tajharū Lahu Bil-Qawli Kajahri Ba`Đikum Liba`Đin 'An Taĥbaţa 'A`mālukum Wa 'Antum Lā Tash`urūna

O you who believe, do not raise your voices above the voice of the prophet, nor shall you speak loudly to him as you would speak loudly to each other, lest your works become nullified while you do not perceive.

impv.

67:13

And whether you keep your utterances secret, or declare them, He is fully aware of what is in the chests.

n.vb.

4:148
Lā Yuĥibbu Allāhu Al-Jahra Bis-Sū'i Mina Al-Qawli 'Illā Man žulima Wa Kāna Allāhu Samī`āan `Alīmāan

God does not love that any negative sayings be publicized, except if one is wronged. God is Hearer, Knowledgeable.

6:3
Wa Huwa Allāhu Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Fī Al-'ArĐi Ya`lamu Sirrakum Wa Jahrakum Wa Ya`lamu Mā Taksibūna

And He is God in the heavens and the earth. He knows your secrets and what you reveal; and He knows what you earn.

7:205

And remember your Lord within yourself, in humility and in reverence; and without loudness in words, during the morning and the evening. And do not be of the careless ones.

16:75
Đaraba Allāhu Mathalāan `Abdāan Mamlūkāan Lā Yaqdiru `Alá Shay'in Wa Man Razaqnāhu Minnā Rizqāan Ĥasanāan Fahuwa Yunfiqu Minhu Sirrāan Wa Jahrāan Hal Yastawūna Al-Ĥamdu Lillāhi Bal 'Aktharuhum Lā Ya`lamūna

God puts forth the example of a slave who is owned and cannot achieve anything, against one whom We have provided a good provision which he spends of it secretly and openly. Are they the same? Praise be to God, but most of them do not know.

21:110
'Innahu Ya`lamu Al-Jahra Mina Al-Qawli Wa Ya`lamu Mā Taktumūna

"He knows that which is spoken publicly and He knows that which you keep secret."

87:7
'Illā Mā Shā'a Allāhu 'Innahu Ya`lamu Al-Jahra Wa Mā Yakhfá

Except for what God wills, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.

2:55
Wa 'Idh Qultum Yā Mūsá Lan Nu'umina Laka Ĥattá Nará Allāha Jahratan Fa'akhadhatkumu Aş-Şā`iqatu Wa 'Antum Tanžurūna

And you said: "O Moses, we will not believe you until we see God openly!" So the lightning strike took you while you were still staring.

4:153
Yas'aluka 'Ahlu Al-Kitābi 'An Tunazzila `Alayhim Kitābāan Mina As-Samā'i Faqad Sa'alū Mūsá 'Akbara Min Dhālika Faqālū 'Arinā Allāha Jahratan Fa'akhadhat/humu Aş-Şā`iqatu Bižulmihim Thumma Attakhadhū Al-`Ijla Min Ba`di Mā Jā'at/humu Al-Bayyinātu Fa`afawnā `An Dhālika Wa 'Ātaynā Mūsá Sulţānāan Mubīnāan

The people of the Book ask you to bring down to them a book from the heaven. They had asked Moses for even more than that, for they said: "Show us God openly!" So the lightning strike took them for their wickedness. Then they took the calf after the clarity had come to them, and We pardoned them for this; We gave Moses a clear authority.

6:47
Qul 'Ara'aytakum 'In 'Atākum `Adhābu Allāhi Baghtatan 'Aw Jahratan Hal Yuhlaku 'Illā Al-Qawmu Až-žālimūna

Say: "Do you see if the retribution of God comes to you suddenly, or gradually, will anyone be destroyed except the wicked people?"
