The people used to be one nation, then God sent the prophets as bearers of good news and warners, and He sent down with them the Book with the truth so that they may judge between the people in what they were disputing. But after receiving the clarity, the people disputed in it due to animosity between them. And God guided those who believed with His permission regarding what they disputed in of the truth. And God guides whoever He wishes to a straight path.

The utterance of the believers when they are invited to God and His messenger to judge in their affairs is to say: "We hear and obey." These are the winners.

O you who believe, if the believing females come emigrating to you, then you shall test them. Godis fully aware of their belief. Thus, if you establish that they are believers, then you shall not return them to the rejecters. They are no longer lawful for one another. And return the dowries that were paid. And there is no sin upon you to marry them, if you have paid their dowries to them. And do not keep disbelieving wives, and ask back what dowries you paid. And let them ask back what dowries they had paid. Such is the judgment ofGod; He judges between you. God is Knowledgeable, Wise.

It is not for any human being that God would give him the Book and the authority and the prophethood, then he would say to the people: "Be servants to me rather than God!" Rather: "Be Devotees for what you have been taught of the Book, and of what you have studied."

Wa Kadhalika 'Anzalnāhu Ĥukmāan `Arabīyāan Wa La'ini Attaba`ta 'Ahwā'ahum Ba`damā Jā'aka Mina Al-`Ilmi Mā Laka Mina Allāhi Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Wāqin

And as such, We have sent it down a law which is in Arabic. And if you follow their desires after what has come to you of the knowledge, then you will not have any ally or defender against God.

13:41
'Awalam Yaraw 'Annā Na'tī Al-'ArĐa Nanquşuhā Min 'Aţrāfihā Wa Allāhu Yaĥkumu Lā Mu`aqqiba Liĥukmihi Wa Huwa Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi

Do they not see that We come to the land and reduce it from its ends? And God gives judgment and there is none to override His judgment. And He is swift to reckoning.

18:26

Say: "God is fully aware how long they remained, to Him is the unseen of the heavens and the earth, He sees and hears. They do not have besides Him any ally, and He does not share in His judgment with anyone."

19:12
Yā Yaĥyá Khudhi Al-Kitāba Biqūwatin Wa 'Ātaynāhu Al-Ĥukma Şabīyāan

"O John, take the Book with confidence." And We gave him authority while in his youth.

21:74
Wa Lūţāan 'Ātaynāhu Ĥukmāan Wa `Ilmāan Wa Najjaynāhu Mina Al-Qaryati Allatī Kānat Ta`malu Al-Khabā'itha 'Innahum Kānū Qawma Saw'in Fāsiqīna

And Lot, We gave him wisdom and knowledge, and We saved him from the town that used to do vile things. They were a people of evil, wicked.

21:79
Fafahhamnāhā Sulaymāna Wa Kullāan 'Ātaynā Ĥukmāan Wa `Ilmāan Wa Sakhkharnā Ma`a Dāwūda Al-Jibāla Yusabbiĥna Wa Aţ-Ţayra Wa Kunnā Fā`ilīna

So We gave Solomon the correct understanding, and both of them We have given wisdom and knowledge. And We commissioned the mountains with David to praise, and the birds. This is what We did.

26:21
Fafarartu Minkum Lammā Khiftukum Fawahaba Lī Rabbī Ĥukmāan Wa Ja`alanī Mina Al-Mursalīna

"So I ran away from you all, for I feared you. So my Lord granted me judgment, and made me of the messengers."

26:83
Rabbi Hab Lī Ĥukmāan Wa 'Alĥiqnī Biş-Şāliĥīna

"My Lord, grant me authority and join me with the good doers."

27:78
'Inna Rabbaka YaqĐī Baynahum Biĥukmihi Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-`Alīmu

Your Lord decides between them by His judgment. And He is the Noble, the Knowledgeable.

28:14
Wa Lammā Balagha 'Ashuddahu Wa Astawá 'Ātaynāhu Ĥukmāan Wa `Ilmāan Wa Kadhalika Najzī Al-Muĥsinīna

And when he reached his independence and was established, We bestowed him with wisdom and knowledge. We thus reward the good doers.

28:70
Wa Huwa Allāhu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Lahu Al-Ĥamdu Fī Al-'Ūlá Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Lahu Al-Ĥukmu Wa 'Ilayhi Turja`ūna

And He is God, there is no god except He. To Him belongs all praise in the first and in the last, and judgment belongs with Him, and to Him you will be returned.

28:88
Wa Lā Tad`u Ma`a Allāhi 'Ilahāan 'Ākhara Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Kullu Shay'in Hālikun 'Illā Wajhahu Lahu Al-Ĥukmu Wa 'Ilayhi Turja`ūna

And do not call besides God any god, there is no god except He. Everything will fade away except His face. To Him is the judgment, and to Him you will be returned.

40:12
Dhālikum Bi'annahu 'Idhā Du`iya Allāhu Waĥdahu Kafartum Wa 'In Yushrak Bihi Tu'uminū Fālĥukmu Lillāhi Al-`Alīyi Al-Kabīri

This is because when God alone was mentioned, you rejected, but when partners were set up with Him, you believed. Therefore, the judgment is for God, the Most High, the Great.

42:10
Wa Mā Akhtalaftum Fīhi Min Shay'in Faĥukmuhu 'Ilá Allāhi Dhalikumu Allāhu Rabbī `Alayhi Tawakkaltu Wa 'Ilayhi 'Unību

And anything you dispute in, then its judgment shall be with God. Such is God my Lord. In Him I place my trust, and to Him I repent.

45:16

And We had given the Children of Israel the Book, and the judgment, and the prophethood, and We provided them with good provisions; and We preferred them over the worlds.

52:48
Wa Aşbir Liĥukmi Rabbika Fa'innaka Bi'a`yuninā Wa Sabbiĥ Biĥamdi Rabbika Ĥīna Taqūmu

You shall be patient for the judgment of your Lord, for you are in Our sights; and glorify the praise of your Lord when you rise.

60:10

O you who believe, if the believing females come emigrating to you, then you shall test them. Godis fully aware of their belief. Thus, if you establish that they are believers, then you shall not return them to the rejecters. They are no longer lawful for one another. And return the dowries that were paid. And there is no sin upon you to marry them, if you have paid their dowries to them. And do not keep disbelieving wives, and ask back what dowries you paid. And let them ask back what dowries they had paid. Such is the judgment ofGod; He judges between you. God is Knowledgeable, Wise.

68:48
Fāşbir Liĥukmi Rabbika Wa Lā Takun Kaşāĥibi Al-Ĥūti 'Idh Nādá Wa Huwa Makžūmun

You shall be patient for the judgment of your Lord. And do not be like the companion of the whale who called out while he was in sorrow.

76:24
Fāşbir Liĥukmi Rabbika Wa Lā Tuţi` Minhum 'Āthimāan 'Aw Kafūrāan

So be patient to the judgment of your Lord, and do not obey from them any sinner or rejecter.

10:109

The eldest of them said: "Did you not know that your father has taken a covenant over you with God, and before this you also failed in your duty with Joseph? I will not leave this land until my father permits me to do so or that God will judge for me. He is the best of judges."

Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā Luqmāna Al-Ĥikmata 'Ani Ashkur Lillāhi Wa Man Yashkur Fa'innamā Yashkuru Linafsihi Wa Man Kafara Fa'inna Allāha Ghanīyun Ĥamīdun

And We had given Luqmaan the wisdom: You shall be thankful to God, and whoever is thankful is being thankful for his own good. As for whoever rejects, then God is Rich, Praiseworthy.

33:34
Wa Adhkurna Mā Yutlá Fī Buyūtikunna Min 'Āyāti Allāhi Wa Al-Ĥikmati 'Inna Allāha Kāna Laţīfāan Khabīrāan

And recall all that is being recited in your homes of the revelations of God and the wisdom. God is Sublime, Expert.

38:20
Wa Shadadnā Mulkahu Wa 'Ātaynāhu Al-Ĥikmata Wa Faşla Al-Khiţābi

And We strengthened his kingship, and We gave him the wisdom and the ability to make sound judgment.

43:63
Wa Lammā Jā'a `Īsá Bil-Bayyināti Qāla Qad Ji'tukum Bil-Ĥikmati Wa Li'abayyina Lakum Ba`Đa Al-Ladhī Takhtalifūna Fīhi Fa Attaqū Allāha Wa 'Aţī`ūni

And when Jesus came with the proofs, he said: I have come to you with the wisdom, and to clarify some of the matters in which you dispute. So be aware of God and obey me.

54:5
Ĥikmatun Bālighatun Famā Tughni An-Nudhuru

A perfect wisdom; but the warnings are of no benefit.

62:2
Huwa Al-Ladhī Ba`atha Fī Al-'Ummīyīna Rasūlāan Minhum Yatlū `Alayhim 'Āyātihi Wa Yuzakkīhim Wa Yu`allimuhumu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa 'In Kānū Min Qablu Lafī Đalālin Mubīnin

He is the One who sent to the Gentiles a messenger from among themselves, to recite to them His revelations, and to purify them, and teach them the Book and the wisdom. And before this, they were clearly astray.

4:65

No, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge in what they dispute with each other, then they will not find in their souls any animosity for what you have decided, and they will comply completely.

5:43
Wa Kayfa Yuĥakkimūnaka Wa `Indahumu At-Tawrāatu Fīhā Ĥukmu Allāhi Thumma Yatawallawna Min Ba`di Dhālika Wa Mā 'Ūlā'ika Bil-Mu'uminīna

And how can they make you their judge when they have the Torah, in which there is the judgment of God; then they turn away after that. Those are not believers.

And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet, without having the devil interfere with his wishes. God then overrides what the devil has cast, and God secures His revelations. And God is Knower, Wise.

He is the One who sent down to you the Book, from which there are firm revelations; they are the essence of the Book; and others which are similar. As for those who have a disease in their hearts, they will follow what is similar from it seeking to confuse, and seeking to derive an interpretation. But none know its interpretation except God, and those who are well founded in knowledge; they say: "We believe in it, all is from our Lord." And none will remember except those who possess intelligence.

47:20

And those who believe say: If only a chapter is sent down! But when a firm chapter is sent down, and fighting is mentioned in it, you see those who have a disease in their hearts look at you, as if death had already come to them. It thus revealed them.

Did you not see those who claimed they believed in what was sent down to you and what was sent before you? They wanted to seek judgment using evil, while they were ordered to reject it. It is the devil who wants to lead them far astray.
