AYAH al-Anfal 8:58

Arabic وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِن قَوْمٍ خِيَانَةً فَانبِذْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَاءٍ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْخَائِنِينَ zoom
Transliteration Wa-imma takhafanna min qawmin khiyanatan fainbith ilayhim AAala sawa-in inna Allaha la yuhibbu alkha-ineena zoom
Literal

  And if you fear from a people betrayal throw back to them on equal (terms). Indeed, Allah (does) not love the traitors. zoom


Generally Accepted Translations of the Meaning
Muhammad Asad or, if thou hast reason to fear treachery from people [with whom thou hast made a covenant], cast it back at them in an equitable manner: for, verily, God does not love the treacherous! zoom
