There they shall be reclining upon high couches; they shall feel neither the scorching heat nor the biting cold
Dr. Munir Munshey
In the paradise, they would recline (and relax) on couches. (There), they shall neither be troubled by the heat of the sun, nor by the excessive biting cold
Dr. Kamal Omar
Reclining ones therein on sofas. They shall not experience therein (the presence of the) sun, and nor excessive or bitter cold
Reclining therein on raised thrones, they will see there neither the excessive heat of the sun, nor the excessive bitter cold, (as in Paradise there is no sun and no moon)
They will lean on lounges therein and see neither the (burning) sun nor the (freezing) cold (meaning bodily senses will not be valid in that dimension of life).
Sayyed Abbas Sadr-Ameli
Reclining therein upon raised thrones, they will see (find) there neither the severe (heat of) the sun nor the bitter cold (of the moon)
Al-muntakhab fi tafsir al-Qur'an al-Karim
Reclining on thrones, they do not suffer the heat of the sun nor experience the bitter thrust of the cold, only the divine warmth to which they aspire
