Generally Accepted Translations of the Meaning
Muhammad Asad AND, INDEED, [long before Muhammad] We vouchsafed revelation unto Moses, and appointed his brother Aaron to help him to bear his burden;
M. M. Pickthall We verily gave Moses the Scripture and placed with him his brother Aaron as henchman.
Shakir And certainly We gave Musa the Book and We appointed with him his brother Haroun an aider.
Yusuf Ali (Before this,) We sent Moses The Book, and appointed his brother Aaron with him as minister;
